Going there period...went by EMS that I repeatedly told them NOT to take me to Trident ER.Due to EMS not wanting to deal with afternoon traffic refused to take me to MUSC. Treatment or more like lack of treatment gave me half of IV solution. Put wrong name on my medical wrist band.Had relatives calling to try and find me but due to name being wrong I wasn't registered.If I had an emergency or died my family would not have known.Have nightmares and scared to call a EMS. In what she stated was 12 hours, Kathy MacDonald is fed up with the situation and cannot believe what she was enduring. "There was no nurse to be found, he was literally left unattended in a hallway on a stretcher bed," she said. After about six hours in, she felt like she had to take matters into her own hands and called for a patient advocate. "He was literally not in this hospital," MacDonald said. "He came from across the street in an office building and met me in the ER to make sure we were being taken care of."
