List of MIchael D Seemuller's Reviews
Dr. Seemuller has been my general practitioner for many years and his professionalism, knowledge, and caring manner are second to none. I am especially impressed with his willingness to spend the time to explain his decisions and recommendations regarding my health in terms that I understand -- instead of simply dismissing my concerns so he can move on to the next patient. I am dismayed by any negative reviews posted here, and I strongly recommend Dr. Seemuller!!!
This was a 5 star experience, and Dr. Seemuller seems to be a greatly caring doctor. He asked if I had questions before we got started, gave a detailed examination with thorough explanations, then asked if I had questions afterward. Never once did I feel remotely rushed, while I received expert care. The check-in nurse was also kind and really cared about the details. The admins were nice and helpful as well.
My entire family is under his care. He is a very caring individual and a great doctor. I don't get these other reviews.
Started seeing him back around 2012. I really liked him, seemed very caring. As the yrs went & my health grew more problematic & difficult to figure out. He would check all the normal labs to see if he could figure it out, but nothing would show up that could give him any clues. That is when I would expect a Dr. to refer you out to specialist. He would, but only at my request. He didn't seem to want you to go get second opinions. If I were in his shoes, I would welcome it. Again, as time went on he seemed to change, just wasn't the same doctor as before. And wasn't helping me at all. So I ventured out to find another PCP. One that I felt confident in again.
I have been a patient of Dr. Seemuller since 2013. I was so impressed with his care. But something has changed with him. He is no longer attentive nor listen with any type of empathy. I have quit smoking but gained weight and concerned with my weight. At my last visit he told me that he would rather I die from obesity rather than cigarette smoke. Okay. Plus he said this in front of my 5 yr old and 10 yr old granddaughters that I am raising. It upset them immensely, thinking I was going to die. Also, he gave me Wellbutrin, even after I told him that Wellbutrin causes me issues. He added in on the sly it would help me lose weight. I am being treated for insomnia and the Wellbutrin caused restlessness and jitters. I called to let him know and he hasn't returned my call to date...10 days to be exact. He must be overworked and underpaid. Or maybe big personal problems. If you are too busy to care you are in the wrong Profession.

My experience was a 5 star in the beginning when I first met the Dr. But since would probably rate it between a 3 & 4 star. Nice Dr, but I feel like he hasn't given his all to see why my issues have continued for over 2 yrs now with no for sure diagnosis. I want to find a Dr that really cares about the patients well being & will go the extra mile to make the patient feel like their lives matter. Also he now only works 3 days a week & it is very hard to get an appointment with him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
