My father was one of Dr. Kim's patient. He was referred to Dr. Kim under the premise that he is the best Neurosurgeon in the area. Well after waiting a long time to be seen and determine what needs to be done to correct the issue, Dr. Kim decided not once, but twice to reschedule my father's procedure after it was originally set for Dec 2024. The first reschedule was 3 months from the Dec 2024 and the day before the new surgery date, Dr. Kim had his assistant call to reschedule to a new date that was 2 months out. I personally called Dr. Kim as I was concerned that 2 months was way to long for the amount of pain my father was now in, plus how quickly he was losing his mobility. Dr. Kim assured me that he planned to do the procedure. During the call Dr. Kim said that he consulted with his colleagues, but doesn't always take their advice. Well my father passed 4 days before the last date, and no one returned my call to give condolences from the message that I left. No compassion!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr. Paul Kim. He gave me a chance at life again. I am forever grateful to him.

I appreciated Dr. Kim’s thorough assessment of my condition as well as the excellent explanation of the surgical procedures necessary to correct my problem. This information has helped me with my planning and has provided me with a greater sense of confidence as his consult was a second opinion. I look forward to improving my situation under his care.

I was in serious back pain and was excited to be referred to Dr. Kim to discuss my options. After finally being called back almost an hour after my appointment time (that's fine, he's a busy surgeon), I didn't feel like he had much time for me or listened to my problems in detail. Despite no obvious abnormality on my MRIs, his recommendation was to proceed with spinal fusion surgery. What!? Needless to say I did not do that and was quite surprised that was even recommended for me. He may be a great surgeon, but unless you know you require surgery, based on my experience, I would not recommend.

Saw Dr. Kim in consultation for possible back surgery.

I had a very good first visit with Dr Kim. He explained in detail the extent of my current problems and possible future issues in my back, which he and Dr Dyer had discussed based on my two MRIs and my X-rays. He also provided detailed information about the planned surgery, the length of that surgery, recover time and possible rehab and future issues. I feel very comfortable with he and Dr Dyer collaborating on my case and providing as good a result as possible.

As far as I'm concerned he's the best neurosurgeon around. I've sent a few people to him.

Pretty much a drug dealer with a medical license. My wife was addicted to Rx drugs. Dr Kim was prescribing pain killers, two muscle relaxers, and ambien. Contacted him four times by writing and four times in person. I explained to him that not only was she overdosing over 20 times in 2 1/2 year period she had fallen several times resulting in 2 broken arms and a broken femur, several emergency room visits. Several 911 calls to the paramedics , the fire department knew us on sight if I happened to see one of them while shopping. Dr Kim saw my wife 3 or four times a year, so he newborn about her situation. I went to the last appointment she had there and went over everything with his NP. I was ignored and he called in a Rx for 90 hydrocodone. My assistance dog woke me up at a little after 3 am. She was flat on her back choking. After getting her breathing again and calling for assistance. I checked her Rxs. She had taken 5 hydrocodone along with ambien. I called the office when they opened extremely irate. Asking WTF? Instead of taking some responsibility for enabling an addict Dr Kim dropped her as a patient. He went from an arrogant know it all to a coward trying to cover his butt in one phone call. In my opinion he is a fake he has over 50 five star reviews all with no name on them. I checked other Dr's reviews his is the only one with that many blank reviews all of them vague one sentence reviews. His arrogance will probably get someone hurt or killed. I report him to the state board. We all know how effective that is. He's basically a drug dealer with a medical license. Be careful when choosing a Dr. those reviews could be posted by the staff or even family and friends.

I saw Dr Kim first time almost 2 years ago and at that time had already decided if I could improve my bone density I would have spine surgery Last week when I had my appointment he said I was good for surgery I liked him the very first visit This time we talked about the risks, length of surgery, rehab and it’s risky but I feel confident he is very qualified and plan on having the surgery Dr. kim to me is very easy to talk to
