List of Afc Urgent Care's Reviews
They should just rename this place afc drug testing center. Past few times I've wasted gas to drive here they have only been accepting drug tests.
worst experience ever. multiple violations from all the staff. using people's full names while other people can hear. talking about people's insurance, talking about why people are there. also loved the enthusiasm in the PAs voice when she announced to everyone I was leaving! was talked to like a complete idiot and was given no help.
I was seen by Dr Gillingham Sunday afternoon and was extremely pleased. I was treated with extreme care and would highly recommend. I was treated for cellulitis and broken first metatarsal bone. Follow up with surgeon tomorrow
Nurse Practitioner prescribed eye ointment to a 3 yr old for eyes as opposed to eye drops. Had I known this before leaving and them closing I’d have addressed it. During visit I explained that my son is prone to sinus infections after having a cold and that was likely the cause of both pink eyes and reasoning to why he still had wet cough and recent onset of odor in breath 3 weeks after cold. She also prescribed Prednisone which is a steroid not antibiotic. I had to go back to an actual pediatrician last night just for them to diagnose him with pink eye and sinus infection and tell me not to give eye ointment to 3yr old as he is likely to not receive it well and to not give prednisone since he had no use for it. An actual doctor prescribed antibiotics instead. Nurse practitioners should not be running an urgent care facility. Especially if they are not LISTENING WITH UNDERSTANDING. Total waste of time, visit and money. Wish I could get my money back for visit and prescriptions.
I was seen in a timely manner and staff was very professional and polite. Thank you!
Very friendly, professional, knowledgeable and confidential!
The doctor and nurse were excellent. The girl up front was very nice and the posted wait time was pretty accurate. I was in a lot of pain and I felt taken care of.
The people working were very nice, I was seen quickly and the Dr seemed to hear my concerns and address them. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was because when the girl at the counter opened the window to speak to me I got a strong smell of cigarettes. I was there to be seen for respiratory issues and the cigarette smell triggered my coughing. A Dr's office should smell like it has just been cleaned and this one did not.
My ordinary visit was made extraordinary due to very professional staff with caring patient-focused spirit.
Staff was very nice, wait was pretty long, but things moved rapidly when I was taken back. Prescription was at pharmacy when I arrived and filled quickly. Being from out of town, very pleased everything went smoothly!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
