Divya Kulkarni's Online Review Report Card

My wife went here and the Nurse Practictioner was very unprofessional and didn’t address any of her issues. She informed my wife that she needed to go to the ER if she wanted to find out what was wrong with her. This place is a joke and needless to say, we will be taking our needs elsewhere and I suggest everyone else do the same.

Dr. Kulkarni is a very thorough and kind doctor. She takes her times and makes sure that you understands your illness or any procedure that is needed. I highly recommend her as a doctor and I am confident in her abilities to make sure that her patients receive the very best care.

My recent visit with Dr. Kulkarni was one of the most upsetting experiences in my life. I am 54 years old and have NEVER had a problem with any doctor in my entire life. NEVER. This woman ordered an unnecessary, unwarranted test (which had nothing to do with anything I was there for that day) that basically broke any trust between us. When I let my feelings be known in a survey to Bon Secours, I was immediately sent a letter informing me that she was no longer going to serve as my physician. Which was fine because I never wanted to see her again anyway. But the gall of the woman! Again, I have NEVER had any problems with a doctor in my life. She is by far the worst physician I have ever had. Did not listen to me, badgered me about medication I did not want to take, and worst of all, seemed to distrust my character - FOR NO REASON. If I can't trust my doctor and they don't respect ME, then they are no good to me. I would steer clear of this lady. And incidentally, she is known as "The Quack." I am not making this up. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, but the woman is bad news. She once told me that if I would take an antidepressant (I am not depressed, but she loves to push pills at you) I wouldn't have to take my blood pressure medicine!!! My cardiologist couldn't believe it! First DO NO HARM apparently means nothing to her.

This Dr. Does not keep appointment times at all. The last three times I have been to Fairview Family Practice, I have had a 9:00 AM appointment and have never actually seen Dr. Kulkarni in less than an hour and a half wait. Today I had a 9:00 AM appointment and at 9:30 I walked out and cancelled my appointment. She apparently does not value other people's time. When I have to take time off from work to go to the DR I expect the appointment time to be kept. She is a smug Pakistani or Indian lady who needs to go back to whatever crappy country she is from and make those folks wait on her ass.

Friendly but definitely neglected my needs. She dismissed my complaints about my pain and told me I was fine. I had to seek out another PCP in NY to get the correct care. I was diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS). I suffered for a year. Definitely does not take complaints serious. She showed me her posture bending down and her knees made a cracking noise, then proceeded to say “See”. I’m fine. I do not recommend her. I do recommend her updating her education and empathy.

A very kind and caring person. A beautiful human being. Young mother, alert and very knowledgeable. She is quite good at troubleshooting various conditions and corrected one diagnosis another doctor had made incorrectly/misdiagnosed for me and my health. Most grateful to have her as my doctor.
