Currently searching for a new pediatric dentist
DO NOT GO HERE! STAFF IS RUDE. no one answers or return phone calls. They try to fo ALL work at 1 visit. My daugther crys when we have go to dentist the trama is real !! This is not a good place for kids. watch them comment please call the office. what for no one ever answers
Took my son here and the dentist made me feel like a terrible parent for my son having cavities. I'm sorry but I'm a parent, I feel guilty enough I don't need judgment from others. Then they had a terrible time forcing my 3 year old to stay still for x-rays like it's his fault he can't sit still. It was traumatizing and they didn't comfort him at all. Then when we needed to get a procedure done, he had to drink this special juice and the lady forced it at him, he refused to drink it and when I tried to have him drink it, she told me to give up after 30 seconds and said we'd have to schedule an iv sedation instead. So I went to schedule that, and it's been 3 months and everytime I call they say they will call me to schedule. I found a different place. They are terrible.
Everyone was amazing as usual! Wouldn't bring my son anywhere else. Thank you for the great service!
Carolina Dental Doc is the best! Had previously visited other dentist, had my daughter crying and hating to go. But this office is the best! My daughter loves it! Nice professional staff. Clean environment, and punctual I would recommend them to everyone. Thank you Carolina Dental Docs.
They gave my sister too much anesthesia, she’s completely brain washed rn has no idea what she’s doing and is so confused plus she can’t move much she’s weak, a 4 year old shouldn’t have to go thru that.
The entire staff there were very friendly, the lobby is welcoming and the facility is very clean. All Covid protocols were followed. Greatest dentist I’ve been to. Will definitely make this office our new provider after my experience and being referred by a family friend. Amazing people there! Thank you all for your work and professionalism.
I would love this office if the front desk receptionist wasn't so rude. They said one bad apple spoils the bunch, well she is just that the BAD APPLE! They don't keep up with their records and that's a major red flag. I would rather take my chances finding a new dentist for my daughter than step foot in this establishment. I wish i had her name but she is the one that usually sits at the far left of the desk the checkout part!
We are very thankful to have found this office. Everyone is very nice and the office is very clean. They play movies and the staff sings along. The ladies up front are very nice, professional and love playing with the children. The clinical team is top notch and really take their time. They are patient with the children and make it fun! It is very easy to get an appointment. Greatful to have this office for the kids. Thank you Carolina Dental Docs!
Visited this Facility and was impressed with the customer service I received. The office manager and her assistant made me feel like I was family. I would recommend this facility to anyone. Thank you for making us feel so comfortable.
Please avoid this place! I 100% do not recommend. Our last dentist dropped our insurance so we have been on the hunt to find a new pediatric dentist for the kids. My son (age 5) complained of a tooth hurting so we decided to try Carolina Dental Docs out. My husband went with my son to the appointment and it sounded like everything went fine. He had one tooth that had a cavity and it was bad enough they scheduled him for a cap. While filling out paper work to get his cap I noticed there was a page for me to give permission to restrain him. I told them I was not comfortable with that and they said if I didn't sign it they would refuse to do the procedure. They also wanted to give him a drink that would make him groggy but help him "forget" everything. I told them I was not comfortable with that either and that he has done very well just getting the shot that numbs the area they are working on. (He had to have 3 cavities filled at our old dentist when he was two and was so well behaved they were able to fill all three in one sitting.) They said they had a terrible job getting X-rays last time he was there and so they had to use the medicine or the drink or they would not do the procedure. I called my husband after I had finished filling out paperwork and asked about the X-rays. My husband said he had been with my son the whole time during the X-ray and he didn't make a peep and the tech didn't say a word to my son or my husband about needing to do anything different than what he was doing. I was able to go back and see where they were doing the procedure and they have all the windows to the rooms covered with black cloth so you can't see what is going on. They also will not let you stay with your child while they are getting work done. While I was waiting in the waiting room I could hear a child screaming out. A few minutes later I realized I was the only one in the waiting room and it was my son!!! I didn't even recognize him he was screaming so badly. He has never screamed like that before in his life! (and he's had his arm broken, set and cast before.) The dentist came out a few minutes later and told me it had gone well. That my son had been mad but most kids usually are. They then wheeled him out waist tied in the wheel chair. My sons face was swollen from crying. I asked him if he had been the one screaming and he said yes. I told him I had never heard him scream like that before and he told me he had never felt that much pain. When we were in the car I asked him what happened and he told me they had tied up his waist, then feet, then his wrists. He said they drilled his tooth and he could feel everything! My heart was broken. I sobbed all the way home. I had signed papers saying they could do this to my child because he had been in so much pain I was scared it would take us weeks to find a new dentist. If I knew then what I know now I never would have taken him to this place. I have canceled my other two children's appointments for next month and have already warned multiple people to stay away. I don't understand dentist that don't allow parents at least a window to look in to check on their child or dentist that don't try the least extreme way to treat a child first before restraining them and drilling their teeth. My son had never resisted them, screamed at them, or told them no. He did everything they asked at his first appointment and they still restrained him. The more research I have done this weekend the more I realize what they did is so so wrong. I also reached out to other moms to see if this is standard procedure for a child getting a cap and they all said run far away. There are so many red flags at this place. If any moms are looking for a dentist for their children please look somewhere else.
My child loves all the staff they are all ways smiling and good with the kids she has autisom and is not scarred to go back by her self like at her last dentist she is 14 now she all ways lives thare with cleanteath and a bag of gooddies I would recommend thim to anyone
Avoid like the plague!!! This dentist office does not understand how customer service works and makes you feel bad for your children’s dental issues.

Horrible place to go. You can’t go back with your child when they are having a tooth pulled. She is only 7. Not acceptable. My other child has a different dentist and I am able to go back and sit in the waiting room by him.
We have been here a total of two times. The first visit went well, everyone was nice and kid friendly. The 2nd visit not so good. Soon as we get there an employee is crying and the same employee was the one who saw my child. She wasn’t kid friendly and this may have had something to do with why she was crying, but doors open at 8. Put your work face on. Of course my child cried. Typical 1 year old. She didn’t try smiling at him for any kinda reassurance. It was just not a good experience today. I asked her questions she just act like I was getting on her nerves basically she should have just stayed home. I hope her day gets better or she gets a day off. We have another visit soon, maybe that day will be better.
This is a very friendly office. Denise is really good and patient, super gentle and good at making patient feel comfortable.
Carolina Dental Docs is the greatest place to take you children. My children look forward to seeing their friend, Colleen, who is the most caring, funniest hygienist they evrer had.
Wonderful office. Very clean and friendly. Colleen the hygienist is amazing. She is very sweet and makes sure the kids are comfortable. Highly recommend.
Very rude staff!
