I was a patient here at this orthodontist and had my braces on for 5 years. I had activities at school that would force me to miss a few appointments throughout the years but sometimes I didn’t want to go to the appointment due to Cooper and some staff members. He was honestly very rude to me and always had some type of attitude when it came to seeing me but no problem with someone else there. The nurses (or whatever they are called lol) were nice and always took good care of me. I think it was honestly sad that I hated going to orthodontist mainly because of the owner/main doctor. You should welcome all your patients and be nice to them even if they miss appointments etc. I’m happy that I had my braces removed last year, only place that I knew of at the time that did monthly payments for braces. If I could tell my mom back then to go somewhere else, I would have.
The work done here seems stellar, but appointment staff is rude & unhelpful.
Love the staff! Always very professional and friendly. Dr. Cooper takes time to explain anything not understood before he leaves.
Overall this is a great orthodontist and they have very friendly staff, but my daughter was told she was getting her braces off this month. She went in today and they spent 10 minutes with her max. She’s very disappointed.
I highly recommend! They’ll work with you on anything.
Friendly staff, extremely knowledgeable in their profession,(you know... that moment when you suddenly realize you know NOTHING about ur children’s mouth😬😬) pleasant and prompt with anything from, appointments missed to appointments made.🤗Overall, a pretty great place👍
The staff was very professional and efficient with helping my daughter on her visit. Dr. Cooper cares about his patients and it shows by the way that he explains every details as the procedure is being done.Pam is a very nice and wonderful lady too.
Big nightmare. I originally chose this orthodontist due to it being close to us. Then they close their Rock Hill office and moved everyone to Fort Mill. And now if something arises with my daughters braces and we need a quick appointment we have to drive to the other side of Charlotte. Not to mention appointments are only every three months and it never looks like they even do anything. I have not seen a change with my daughters teeth in a year!
We've had three children receive their braces from Dr. Cooper's office, however our third's experience has been a complete nightmare. This is our son's second time getting braces, first with Dr. Cooper. He had to get braces due to the fact he needed to replace his front tooth due to an accident, therefore the braces were necessary to pull his teeth apart to make room for the implant. He received his braces about a year ago when Dr. Cooper's office was still open in Rock Hill. He made a very large down payment with a monthly payment plan. Then Dr. Cooper's office closed in Rock Hill, only opened on Fridays in Fort Mill. This made it very difficult for my son to not only make an appt but his teeth started closing in to where it looked like he had one large tooth in the front. His card got stolen so he had to get a new debit card, the same debit card where the monthly payment was withdrawn so he got behind a few payments and Dr. Coopers BOM's were so rude and inconsiderate, they were more worried about the money than his teeth. Another large payment was made in Sept- leaving only $300 left on his account BUT again he has only been seen a handful of times with ONE large tooth in the front and again we have yet to see a plan of action to correct his teeth. THIS morning I received another phone call demanding FINAL payment for his braces HOWEVER his teeth look EXACTLY like day one from a year ago and yet we have not received any plan of action to correct his teeth NOR a statement of where this money is going. My son is seen ONCE every three to six months and has ONE large front tooth since his teeth has closed in BUT Dr. Cooper and his office has now received full payment for services yet received! HOW is this right? How is this GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE? And the business office manager "Karen" (Not really Karen, just acting like a Karen) I spoke to this morning was VERY Rude and more concerned about the $300 left on the account than delivering the services that my son deserves to receive more than once every three months or so! Would NOT recommend this orthodontic group at all!
I would not recommend anyone see this orthodontist. He has clearly stretched himself too thin. In my 5 years in braces, I only met him TWICE. The two times I did meet him he had poor bedside manner. He closes his Rock Hill office abruptly and then makes his patients drive to Fort Mill. On top of that, once your braces are off you have to drive all the way to Northlake for the remainder of your appointments (a year worth of appointments). This is a big inconvenience for me. If I could do my braces experience over again I would not choose this office.
