Meghan Geils Md's Online Review Report Card

I switched to Dr Meghan Geils for my child's care when my health insurance changed. I've been impressed with her knowledge and compassion. The staff has been helpful and efficient each time I've had an appointment. James Island is lucky to have this caring practice so conveniently located.

I have been taking my two boys to see Megan geils for five years now . She is the most caring,loving,patient and understanding of parents concerns and takes the time she needs to and never rushes through my appointment. I will never go to another doctor unless she were to stop practicing

Dr. Geils may be a decent physician but we would never know as the way this practice operates, you can never see your physician. The practice is operationally a wreck. It is difficult to access the practice. When you get there, you can expect extremely long waits and a rude, uncaring staff. Today, we could take no more. After over an hour and half wait in the reception area and then being painfully left in an exam room forever, we left. The staff and manager could care less.

Dr. Geils is wonderful! She takes any fear of seeing the doctor, instantly disappear. Dr. Geils has a wonderful bedside manner. She takes time to answer questions and is very thorough. Because of frequent moves, my daughters have had seven different pediatricians and Dr. Geils is by far the best!

Because we have moved seven times, my daughters have had a lot of pediatricians. Dr. Geils is by far the best! She takes away any fear of going to the doctor with her friendly, compassionate bedside manner. We never felt rushed. Dr. Geils always took time with consultations and answered my many questions. I cannot imagine anyone giving her less than five stars.

I can't say enough great things about Dr Geils! She is just wonderful and my kids love her! There was a change recently that we don't love but she is worth staying for!

Love love Dr. Geils... was so happy when l found her she is very professional,helpful understanding and lesions to my concerns... she also is the dr for half of my home daycare and all my parents love her too and is nice when something is going around she can help clear it up. I wish she saw us moms too but hope to find myself a great dr like her!

Do not use Seacoast Pediatrics if you want friendly, prompt service. The doctors know their stuff, this is for sure. But the front office staff (and the answering service they utilize) are horrible. I've been billed for things that we didn't have done - and when I call to point it out, their answer is, "Well, you don't have to pay for that, insurance covers it." Uh, hello, that looks like FRAUD to me - but what do I know, I am not an insurance investigator. Dr. Geils isn't there much anymore - she iether works two or three days a week. We all talk at our daycares and our schools - I haven't found anyone who will heartily endorse these folks. It's always, "Well....but..." We did leave this practice. I'm not sure that the answering service issue will ever be resolved, as I'm told that lots of practices in the Charleston area use the same answering service. But the days of being treated like THEY are doing ME a favor when I come in (and yes, they've raised their prices) are over.
