List of Palmetto Primary Care Physicians's Reviews
This complaint is in regards to my father who is a patient of Dr. Frampton Henderson. My father, has recently experienced a drastic decline in his health which has greatly concerned all of us. As such I have made multiple attempts to contact Dr. Henderson to discuss and establish long term care plans and admittance into an adult rehabilitation center. Promptness of return phone calls is non existant, on one occasion waiting more than an entire business day for a follow up phone call even after explaining the urgency of my father recently suffering several falls in his home.My most recent phone call with the office on 6/24/2020 was met with rudeness and an unwillingness to provide an acceptable standard of care by the receptionist at the Oakbrook office. After expressing the highly urgent nature in getting my father seen and placed into a care facility, I was told he could not be seen for 5 business days. When I became upset with this the receptionist became irate and argumentative. I will now have to look for a new doctor to provide care for my father. I hope that palmetto primary care, of which my family has a history of patronage ( 35+ years) can sort out the extreme problems which have recently become commonplace at the oakbrook office.
I went to allison for back pain. I told her up front that I didn't want pain meds but I needed her to help me figure out why I was hurting so bad. She told me, and I quote, "you're young and healthy, I seriously doubt you have a pinched nerve. She sent me to a physical therapist affiliated with palmetto primary care. They didn't take any xrays or nothing before they started pulling and prodding. I got worse so I found my own doctor, back to health in goose creek is EXCELLENT btw. They did scans and found not only do I have a pinched nerve, I have two, plus scoliosis and spina bifida occulta. I wish I could give her a negative star.
Front desk is not friendly or understanding at all. I got my appt time 15 off, so my fault, but you cant tell me to pay and wait and not tell me if I would even be seen at all or not.
Awful awful place. Dont waste your time or your money!
I love Allison. She is so thorough and if she had not done a cat scan for a chronic cough, what showed up would have never been detected. They always call me even when I was on vacation. Love them.
Terrible customer service, no appointment reminders like they say you’re going to get. Not worth the effort to deal with. Definitely will not go back.
How can a FNP who has been seeing you well over a year say they ‘don’t know you very well’? When you’ve been prescribing me meds for mental health, once suggested I was manic depressive, talked about putting me on lithium, and then I ask you to fill out some paperwork regarding my mental health you are suddenly unqualified? It seems as though anytime I go in she forgets every conversation we’ve ever had. I almost broke out into tears today when she said ‘I have a three strike rule about meds’, essentially saying she could do nothing for me, and saying the actual doctor had a three month wait but she didn’t know what good it would do for me to see her. They rush you in and out, take your money, and don’t make you feel well taken care of. It was a very said day when Dr. Ewens retired. I applaud them for always getting me in on short notice but I spend more time sitting in the room than being seein and I feel like my situation was very poorly handled and they just wanted rid of me as a patient.
Dr Jennifer stolin is a fraud. She will take your money and give you meds that she says will make you better. In reality you will get worse and when you try to get in touch with her she is no where to be found. Do yourself a favor and stay away from her and this place. She prescribed my wife anti depressants and them she kept upping the dose until she had a break down. When she tried to call Dr stolin she was nowhere to be found. Then someone from the office sent police to my house and the forcefully took her to the er and was held against her will for 2 days. Then she was transported to another hospital against her will. Dr stolin still MIA after numerous phone calls and no calls back. She didn't see her patient in the er or the hospital. Sounds like someone that really cares about her patients.
Very disappointed in the level of care my daughter recently received from the P.A., Allison McCloud, who took over for Dr. Ewens when he left and went into another practice. She does not feel that her needs are being listened to and her medications dosing fluctuates for no apparent reason. My daughter , as well as myself and whole family were patients of Dr. Ewens for many years. We always received compassionate, professional, and attentive care during that time but now that he is gone we thought we’d give his replacement a try but we at this point cannot accept subpar healthcare from a practice that is supported fully by a physician’s assistant with the only attention received from an actual board certified medical doctor is the signing off of your prescriptions. She hasn’t once since Dr. Ewens left seen a doctor, only the physician’s assistant. I believe there is some form of a communication gap between Ms. McCloud and the doctor that is overseeing her which could be causing a breakdown in the services being provided. Whatever the cause doesn’t matter at this point we are looking elsewhere for a doctor in Summerville that will take care of us with the level of care we got from Dr. Ewens.
Just called to make an appointment with my primary care physician Frampton W Henderson lll and his office assistant told me he was available tomorrow at 2:00 due to a cancellation. I tell her I have never been into the office but I am 25 weeks pregnant and very sick. Her response sorry but since you've never been to the office it will be weeks before we can see you. My response, you just told me you had a cancellation for tomorrow. If you want a doctor that doesn't take his hypocratic oath serious or doesn't want to help sick pregnant women who have him listed on their insurance card as primary care physician, I have just the man for you, Frampton W Henderson lll. On the phone with my insurance company now changing my primary care physician!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
