I just called here to schedule an appt and the receptionist was the worst one ever spoken to! No customer service skills, rude, abrasive... and all I wanted was to schedule a new patient appt! Needless to say I didn't schedule an appt.

Terrible dental experience. The dentist is too old and out of touch. He needs to retire. Plus he had a very weird, creepy vibe. He was so condescending, I wondered if he practiced that or if he's just honestly that arrogant naturally. The whole staff was very inept and cold. I would never recommend this dentist to anyone.

The dentist is old and out of touch. He told me my teeth are perfectly fine, but he NEVER LOOKED IN MY MOUTH! Plus, he had a very creepy vibe.

My dad, who is new to the area, needed immediate care. The day before the appointment, I was able to call Summerville Family Dentistry to set up an appointment for him as a new patient! In that time, the office manager had already called his dental insurance and found out what it was. She also made suggestions on how to make sure that he had coverage. Dr. Dawson was beyond kind and incredibly effective! My dad had chipped his tooth and had been unable to close his mouth! They did a cleaning, x-rays, and for three hours, the dentist fixed my dad's tooth and drilled another cavity. Afterwards, my dad turned to me with tears in his eyes and said, "I can actually close my mouth! For the first time in months, my mouth feels normal!" We can't thank Dr. Dawson and his staff enough!

A great and locally owned practice of over 30 years here in Summerville. Very friendly and courteous staff. The waiting room is very pleasant and comfortable. And you won't wait very long for your appointment time .
