List of Sweetgrass Pediatrics's Reviews
I had called to see if there was any openings for today for my daughter. The lady that answered the phone said no place close to me had any but the North Charleston location had an availability for today at 4:20.I said I would take it. I asked for an appointment reminder and address. She said I would be getting soon. It got 2p.m. Still nothing from them so I called. They said my daughter wasn’t on the books for today , her appointment is for tomorrow! I said no it was made for today. The lady said thats not the day and time you picked on line. I told her I didn’t do anything online I called in and got a run around and got “verified “ her apt was today. She apologized. I canceled all around so now I’m sitting in the ER with my daughter!! Only giving 1 star to post this review!
We chose this location because it was close to our home. Well, forget it! Now if you have a well visit, you go one place, if you have a sick visit you have to drive 30-45 minutes to a different location. We also tried to make an appointment for a specific issue and were told there were only two doctors in the entire practice that dealt with that area and we would have to wait almost a month, even though the issue was causing my child pain. We are in the process of changing to a different pediatrician.
Don't waste your time with this practice. If you try to schedule an appointment with them by phone or the website, they say they aren't accepting appointments for sick children "due to back-to-school requests and the pandemic". It's May! School started a long time ago and the covid spike was over months ago. They'll only see children who aren't sick? Seriously? And your only option for communicating with them is texting. It's absurd. We scheduled an appointment at a different practice down the street in less than a minute. Won't be coming back here. Do yourself a favor and find a different pediatric practice that is actually interested in treating sick children.
Mi experiencia fue muy agradable. Muy amable en la administración, paciente. Y las enfermeras y médico igual. La atención fue rápida. Sin dejar de mencionar que el lugar es muy limpio y bonito. Gracias!
We have been going for years only because we like Dr. Dino but the office is becoming too ridiculous, worse with each visit. I just didn’t and he texting back and forth just to schedule an apt. and give new Ins. because they now refuse to answer their phones and want to text everything. They also have a ridiculous rule that only 2 kids can be seen a day.
I try not to come here unless it is absolutely necessary. The provider I seen informed me that my child only had about 4-6 shots. My child is 10. They said she missed shots since she was 2. She also offered to start getting caught up because it wouldn't hurt anything. I knew she had them so I refused. Sweetgrass should keep better records and the doctor should not want to just give shots without researching.
This place just refused to see my sick child and told me to drive to a different location that was over 30 minutes away. The front desk lady was asking whats the reason because we don't see sick kids here only healthy ones. Worst customer service and I will never support this business ever again for sending me away with a sick kid. Sweetgrass should be ashamed of themselves and that location needs to be shutdown.
I brought my newborn daughter to this location 24 hours after she was born and received excellent care. No issues at all. However, her subsequent 2 well baby appointments consisted of us being shoved out the back door without being seen because my daughter was congested. Both times I had included congestion on her pre-appointment online registration but was still allowed to complete the form and was called inside. I get that covid is scary and that we’re all doing our best to keep everyone safe, but kicking a baby out twice for a runny nose is excessive. We ended up going to another practice and were seen despite a runny nose and a rash. She was diagnosed with allergies, which was causing the issue that we were kicked out of Sweetgrass for. We’re also trying to get her caught up on the vaccinations she was unable to receive at this office. I do not recommend this at all.
I have two older sons with special needs that have been patients at Sweetgrass Pediatrics since the first office opened. Even as the size of the practice has expanded through the years, I have never felt that quality of care has been compromised and all of the doctor's we have seen have been excellent. I highly recommend this practice to any family whether their children are generally healthy or have special needs.
Very Horrible Pediatrics center every time I bring my kids here for a sick appointment or well check up I’m waiting a hour from my appointment time just to be seen I’ve never experienced such bad customer service very rude nurses I will not be bringing my kids back here ever I’ve found another Sweetgrass center that is caring for there patients if I could give a 0 I would!!!!!!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
