I absolutely loved them! Everyone...the receptionist, the nurses and the doctor were very sweet and funny! They all made me comfortable and hopeful! I would highly recommend you give them a try! I got there just to fill out my application and when they saw how serious my issues were they accepted me as a new patient immediately and saw me right then! I arrived scared and with no hope, when I left I was smiling and full of hope!

Dr. Bei Zheng is very professional and made me feel confident that she will do all she can to figure out what is causing my upper quadrant pain. The staff was super nice and I had no issues when scheduling my appointment.

Called and made an appointment with a Doctor that I received a letter about frrom Self Medical because Dr. Ford had left the practice. Told I want to see and received an appointment for 10/25/2016. This is an appointment for my blood pressure medine renewals. At the time I made this appointment I had pills left to last me to the appointment. Then today I go to my mailbox and find a letter that a different Dr (I had seen once and not requested to be my Doctor would not be available for "our" appointment and that I needed to call to reschedule my appointment - that was supposed to be in 5 days!!!!!. Called the office at 4:30 - supposed to be open until 5 and can't get thru!!!!!! They have my phone number and could have called me sooner. They have my email no email from them either!! And when I am sick I can never seem to get in. So then I have to go to Express care and never get to seem the same Doctor! This is not the way to run a doctor's office.12/5/2016 Update to original review. Don't remember how it actually happened but I actually got in to see the Dr. - she seemed very nice. BUT - I don't know what the secret is to getting somebody on the phone there. When Matt was there you could call and actually get a person on the phone. You call now you get a recording telling you their hours and when the office is closed for lunch. Also that you can leave a message on nurses line. I have called and left a couple of messages and have never gotten a call back. I have been suffering from a sinus infection and bronchitis for a while now (diagnosis by them) and I wanted to know what I could take to decongest my ears because the pharamist said I needed to talk to them because of other medicines I take. I have called during the hours they state they are open. Can't get a person on the line, leave a message still no person calls back. Am I the only person this happens to. This weekend I get a text wanting me to confirm my appointment for this morning. Didn't notice it right away. When I did I get a message back saying invalid. So I get up early this morning and call after 8am and still get the message saying when their hours are etc. no way to find out if I do have an appointment or not. I don't know what the problem is with getting someone on the phone here or getting them to return a call. Does Self Medical even care? This is not how you treat people. Please hire someone to answer the phone!

This place is terrible! My grandfather can barely breath so he walks in cause nobody knows how to answer the phone there. When he gets there they tell him they can not see him till November 8th! This doctor office also did the same thing with my mother. None of my family will go here anymore!

They are friendly, but they dont seem to listen to concerns or explain why they dont want to pursue your idea of whats wrong. They sent my spouse to a gastronologist who gave him 5+ pills that didnt help his issue...we were calling the EMS every other night...the ER would stabalize him and we'd be right back in there...finally it took getting the EMS to take him to GA where the GA ER Doc told him that the meds he was taking for his stomach were contributing to the problem...he put my spouse on zantac 150 and he takes 2 daily and hes FINE! i dont trust these peoples judgement

The wonderful people at Ware Shoals Center have been nothing but great for me. from Matt at the front office to Kim at the back office. I started here with Doctor Ashley McGee and have Kristie Ford all have worked hard to help me overcome any issue I have or have had. They are the very best of Self Group and I highly recommend this office for any family!
