We have used FirstLight's services for 3 years now, for my mother who lives in our home. They do their best to find the right caregiver(s) for her, and it gives me peace of mind to know Mom is taken care of while I am at work.

We were blessed with an excellent caregiver for my Mother. She went over and beyond in every way. My Mother loved Carmen and we did too. She is insightful and hard working and extremely caring. FirstLight also came through in an emergency on one occasion. I live in another state and it was important to have someone we trusted and felt secure with. Thank you for serving my Mother and our family.

Recently, I had the task of finding care for my father for hospice care. Along with the hospice, I knew my mother, being elderly herself, would need additional assistance. Unfortunately, we were not able to use the services from FirstLight very long as my father quickly passed away. However, when trying to locate a caregiver, the thing that impressed me the most about FirstLight was that from the very beginning my father was a person...a human being and NOT just a potential account. The Firstlight staff stayed with us until the end which gave my mother so much comfort. Thank you so much!

I used FirstLight Home Care for the first time yesterday to get me to and from foot surgery and for home care the rest of the day. Lisa matched me with the perfect caregiver, Taylor. I will be using them again tomorrow for my post-op doctor’s appointment and future appointments. They understand how to get the right results when caring for a client, tempered with kindness. It is extremely challenging to care for a parent in cognitive decline while living on the opposite coast. Lisa and her team have consistently gone above and beyond in caring for my Mom. I can't express my gratitude enough for all they do on a daily basis.

We had tried another service with a good reputation and were not pleased. After trying FirstLight, we didn't need to look any further. Lisa and her staff are fantastic! They have gone to extreme lengths to provide the help we needed. Lisa even changed a light bulb that I couldn't when she came out to interview us.Lisa makes sure that she knows your needs and your personality and matches the right helper to your situation. I was very pleased with the care I received recently when I broke my ankle. The ladies who came were friendly, pleasant, on time and willing to do anything to help. I didn't need them to come every day but Lisa was willing to be flexible with my schedule. I would definitely recommend FirstLight Home Care.

We also had the opportunity to enlist the services from First Light Home Care...My Mother needed round the clock care for the first few days after her release from having a stroke...they provided daily care needs morning and night for several months...Mother gained her mobility and independence from the help of the caregivers that were provided by Lisa and her professional staff..
