Absolute Garbage. Do not go there. I wish I do not have to write a review like this but people save your gasoline and insurance. I felt horrible when I came into the ER 12/24/2024 and I left vomiting. I came to the ER at 6:45pm , got my vitals and blood then I was asked to go to the wating room. I had a needle stuck on my arm for the 3.5 hours I was there for a supposedly IV that was never put in. At 10:00 pm they asked me to go inside of a room to tell me that all my blood work looked fantastic AND TO INMEDIATELY DISCHARGE ME. However, the epigastric pain and chest pain I came for was never addressed. Most importantly the physician sent me home with 3 prescriptions I am already taking. Asummigly this was a Nurse, this individual came into the room saying "she said she has chest pain" in reference to me, the patient. This was a black woman, young, who was not even dress as a nurse, nor had a badge, to do an EKG and while this was happening the registar in an absolute disrespect continued asking for the MONEY! that is the whole insurance information. This insurance money-information could have been collected done earlier while I waited 3 hours at the waiting room. WHAT KIND OF CIRCUS YOU RUN? You do not run an ER this is anything but an ER. Teach you personnel to respect patients, to learn to behave, to know basic rules of respect, and to remind them that it is because of the sick patients that they can be employ, have a job and pay their bills. In other instances I have seen that after a nurse is done then registar comes in. Have some respect when you see a patient in bed, in pain and wait your turn to collect your money. Or is it because a Latino patient comes in you are assuming they are not going to pay? and therefore, your mediocre personnel can be disrespectful and giving mediocre care? be careful in how you treat a patient. The woman who did the EKG when I said to her next time have your registar to wait outside while you are doing this procedure. She said "let me tell you here they do everything at once okay" walked away in such a disrespectful manner saying that she was not going to be nice to anyone. From what hood or barrio you hire this woman? Have your people wearing a badge which she did not have it at the time only a shirt that said mama. I hope you treat your "MAMA" with respect. This whole interaction made me sicker. I dont even know the results of the EKG because I was asked to leave the place inmediatley. Dont have the audacity to collect money from an Emergency visit when you have provided mediocre care, with mediocre and disrespectful people and making the patient walk away still sick. The only thing this place cares is INSURANCE money and giving the least and with mediocre people. GARBAGE. I guess they pick and choose to whom they give the care base on the color of skin.
Clean facilities, professional and Polite Staff. Great Dr, Nurses and Specialists.
Very slow been here 4 hours now came in with chest and back pains and arm is num
I don't even know where to start, I was scheduled to have a procedure done at Lexington Medical Center. I researched this hospital and the reviews was not good. It made me a little nervous about this place. DON'T believe everything you read!!! When I tell you this hospital and staff is awesome from Kenneth in registration to nurses and techs Joann with her since of humor, Bella, Madison, Stephanie, Pauline, Kim, Maggie, Alex, Renee, Anesthesiologist Sipe, Crna Roger, to Dr Guidice your the best, and to the elderly gentleman that LOVE the ladies (didn't get his name)who wheeled me down to go home. The Chaplin who prayed for me. Thank you all for taking good care of me. I hope I didn't leave anyone out ,please take it for Love if I did. Again Thank you all!!!
My ER doctor and nurses were great! However my IV became disconnected and the saline fluids were pouring all over me. I pressed my call button and they said they’d send someone. 40 minutes went by and no one came, by then all the fluids had soaked me and my bed. A nurse tech came in and asked me to pee in the bedside toilet, I told and showed her how I was soaked and she said “ok we’ll get someone to help with that but you need to pee”. She left out and STILL no help, so I pressed the button again because blood had started pouring out of the IV. The nurse tech came back in and rudely told me that I need to pee and when I told her I couldn’t, she threatened a catheter. How can I pee when I’m stressed from being freezing and soaking wet with fluids and blood, uncomfortable bc my room curtain was open and I couldn’t get up to close it, and the tech pressuring me to pee. I felt very neglected and did not appreciate being aggressively hounded to pee.
I had went to er there yesterday at y'all hospital it was clean nice amestpoher the staff was friendly there
This is a horrible place. Dont go. I was 5 hours waiting for the doctor in ER. The nurse explained me that they had doctors but they didnt have an available space for a check up. They have to wait to discharge the 40 patients that they had inside the ER, and then the doctors were going to be available to continue examining patients. I was speechless. So, they dont have like in all hospitals an area for the doctors to examine the patients and continue with the treatment. Im guessing what the doctors do while they are waiting for the patients labs or the end of the IV.
My daughter has end stage pulmonary fibrosis she is 36 years old with three children she's in the hospital about every other week or every two weeks because her lungs won't let her breathe today she went because she was having issues breathing. They put her in the waiting room where she should never be around other sick people because she's susceptible to illness yet they put her in the waiting room anyway when they know her sickness. Never mind they wouldn't talk to the family when we called to tell them why she's there that she shouldn't be in the waiting room they hung up and want to call back they wouldn't talk to us. Lexington county medical center is a joke never go here you'll die. The patient advocate is even a joke at this place

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
