List of Benjamin Solomon's Reviews
Visited due to needing a bcp without bothering migraines. When i suggested something that i researched to help with PPD , he laughed and seemed sarcastice. Didn't really listen or look into the alternatives to what they throw at you. He also left without saying goodbye, just left me in room. I went to front desk to let them know i would not be paying for the appointments and needed a new one. Sad. I usually have great experiences with male gynecologist, however he was just impersonal and acted like he knew my body more than i did.. bizarre.
Dr Solomon is amazing! He genuinely hears your concerns and does everything possible to address them. He consults with other colleagues, sends me messages to let me know he has reviewed the results, and orders extra testing if something is unclear. He goes above and beyond for his patients and I can’t recommend him enough!
Dr. Solomon was so amazing for my Pregnancy and I feel so lucky I got him on call for my delivery. He was so nice, compassionate, and genuinely cared about me and my family and took excellent care of me during the pregnancy and labor. I am so grateful for him!
Dr. Solomon is very professional, courteous, and compassionate. He delivered both of my daughters by C-section (most recent 3/27/20). I felt very confident with him. He patiently listened to all my questions and concerns at all of my appointments and answered them thoroughly. I was so happy that he was the one who delivered my girls!
Dr Solomon goes above and beyond for his patients. He is always available to answer questions and very responsive. He has made sure my pregnancy has been smooth and that I always feel safe. I am 38 weeks pregnant and hoping to expect my little guy any day now. I am as relaxed as one can be during this crazy time knowing I have Dr Solomon on my side.
Called the after hours line as I am currently suffering the news and loss of my 17 week pregnancy and baby. After hearing the news in the doctors office I was unable to comprehend anything due to hearing my child was gone. Called and spoke with Dr.Solomon to get some options and clarification because my shock has settled only to be told by him “he doesn’t have time to sit here and answer my unimportant questions that I should have asked at my appointment” that what I’m going through is “not a big deal and he has no advice for me” and that I should have “probably thought about all these questions and concerns while I was at my appointment rather than after others where he is not there to answer unimportant questions that don’t pertain to him”. I have never been so mortified in my life. After hearing my baby has passed STILL INSIDE OF MY BODY and I’m trying to seek help I get made out to be “unimportant “ and treated like I’m stupid for Not asking while being told my child was dead.
This guy, that’s right, no respect for him as a doctor. He is a disgrace to the profession. He begrudgingly cared for (and I use the term extremely loose) for my father. As we waited for an updated on my fathers condition, he walked arrogantly into my fathers hospital room and the first thing he did was to judge my father on his appearance. He basically said that my father was not worth his care because he was overweight. Mind you, this was the first time we were meeting him and vice versa. His assistant later walked over to me and a family friend as we were discussing outside the room what just happened. He apologized for Solomon’s behavior, stated that although he was rude, he is the best. To which I replied, “if the best isn’t willing to give my veteran father his best.. what good is he? I’d rather have the #2 guy if he’ll give my dad the best care.” Needless to say, we reported him to St. Mary and the following day he approached me in my fathers room, not realizing I was in the room when he degraded my fathers value and proceeded to tell me that he felt that my family “misunderstood him the other day”. I just looked at him square in the eye and said, “I was here, I know exactly what was said”. He immediately stopped trying to convince me otherwise. He knows he’s a creep. I can only hope he gets treated worse when he is in a time of need. I wouldn’t take my worst enemy to this guy.
Not a fan of Dr. Solomon. His bedside manner could use some work. I actively avoid getting an appt with him after my first encounter with him. I saw him today after none of my preferred providers were available. I knew what I was getting into and wasn't surprised when he said: "it's not really worth my time to do a cervical check" since I have a scheduled c-section even though I came in complaining of abnormal amounts of cramping. I really wish he would work on his bedside manner or choose another profession where lack of empathy/concern for the client would be more applicable or accepted.
I'm in my the start of my third trimester and just had an appointment with Dr. Solomon. I was a normal weight/BMI prior to becoming pregnant, am within the normal weight gain range for my pregnancy, and in fact am at almost the exact same weight gain amount as I was in my previous pregnancy. The way Dr. Solomon broached the subject of some extra weight gain from the previous 4 weeks was completely unprofessional. Rather than bring it up in a respectful way out of medical concern, he asked me if I had "had an extra nice thanksgiving" and in fact waited for me to respond (I'm still baffled at what he expected me to say) before mentioning that I had gained X pounds in the previous 4 weeks. I've already made sure none of my future appointments are with him, and I really hope he's not the one who delivers my baby either. I would actively recommend other pregnant women avoid him as he clearly has no empathy or bedside manners.
We met Dr. Solomon in the ER at Saint Mary's. He seemed somewhat knowledgeable but his bedside manner and biased way of dealing with patients was atrocious. He did help my husband and I am grateful for that. However, he handled a scary, life threatening situation by making rude, accusatory comments to us and trying to avoid any questions that were asked. He also made snap judgements about my husband's health and how he cares for himself which were unfounded and incorrect. If he was questioned about anything, he raised his voice and kept insisting he was right. He made things a lot worse and more upsetting than they needed to be.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
