Molly Uhing's Online Review Report Card

I've been seeing Dr. Uhing for seven years and she helped me through three of my pregnancies. She is the best!

Dr. Uhing is such a kind and personable doctor. I was a little frustrated my first visit that she was running so far behind schedule but I soon realized it’s because she takes so much time with her patients! She treats you like a special human being and is willing to take all the time necessary. I had a high-risk twin pregnancy and moved to SD in the middle of my pregnancy. I was so scared to go to a new doctor but I couldn’t have been more pleased with Dr. Uhing. She was so calm and cool during my c-section and gave me the greatest gift of two healthy baby girls. My recovery was a piece of cake and is been told by several medical professionals that she did a great job with my incision (I wouldn’t really know the difference!). I would 100% recommend her. Only downside is that she does tend to run a bit behind on appointments. But for me she’s absolutely worth it!

This was an uncomfortable experience. I switched OBs after meeting with Dr. Uhing. She is curt, rude, and disinterested. She is controlling, and would not recommend her.

I left Dr. Uhing's office in tears! She was very aloof and cold. She wanted to control how I delivered, and wouldn't allow me to have even small items on my birthplan because she said "It's not the way she does things." I had Dr. Uhin recommended to me by a friend, so am really dissapointed. I feel like this ruined what should have been a significant part of my pregnancy and made it really sour.

Terrible experience. Would not recommend anyone I care about see this doctor. Made me very uncomfortable, and is highly unprofessional.

I had Dr. Uhing as my doctor 8 years ago when I had a uterine rupture after my third daughter was born. She had never seen a case like mine before but did a phenomenal job in my care!! She was kind, thoughtful, considerate and took the time to listen even when she had other patients. She practically saved my life in more ways than one! Highly recommend her to everyone and I agree...she must NEVER leave Avera!!

Dr Uhing is just incredible. My wife had a complete placental previa and we changed doctors in the last week to have Dr Uhing do the C Section as we had heard good things about her. What should have been a pretty risky operation went so smooth, she was very very skilled and experienced with high risk c sections, and just a few hours later my wife was walking around with very little soreness. She has great bedside manner, is very professional, and didn't rush our appointments with her! Thank you!
