Beautiful facility. I was checked right in. Medical student screened and MD followed up. Labs were done on site with results within 30 minutes. EKG on site and ultrasound ordered for follow up. I’m a medical professional and needed help outside of being able to follow up with my GP and this worked brilliantly. My suspicions were correct and we got the ball rolling in the right direction.

We got an appointment within a week with Black Hills Eye Institute. At 330PM on Wednesday DH was seen for an eval. I asked if, if they had any cancellations for surgery, could he have it the next day? They said yes but he would need a pre-op. Fortunately the secretary had told me that Black Hills Urgent Care would do a pre-op with the order in hand. We got the order, went to BH Urgent Care, got the pre-op done, and took it by hand the next AM to Black Hills Eye Institute. They had had TWO cancelations that morning, and DH got his cateract surgery right then. He is recovering well, and goes back for his 2nd eye next week. Black Hills Urgent Care made it possible; fast, efficient, but excellent concern for the urgency of the patient's needs!

I had the best experience with you! I came in sick thinking that it would be just another long wait, then when a doc would come in, a quick discussion here is your diagnosis and get out. But I was total wrong! I was treated like an actual person was asked lots of questions from the beginning, reseptionist to nurse to doc. until I felt like all my questions were answered and then the doctor asked if I had any questions. She explained everything to me and what I will expect for the next 3 weeks and if there are any changes to come back right away. Everyone seemed really concerned with my symptoms and really listened to what I had to say. Made me feel like I didn't need to rush or they weren't rushing me out the door. Black Hill Urgent care is a wonderful place to go when you feel under the weather! Thank you guys!

Took my dad here, I go here myself, my dad got better care here then what he did at the VA in Sturgis on Wednesday, dipwads missed his pneumonia as they only cared about his BP which hasn't been running high at all, it gets taken twice a day. Bonus for my dad he was happy because it wasn't connected to monument health, which in my opinion is not much better then the VA.
