My boyfriend got a detached retina during the Sturgis rally we went to Dr Slingsby he operated on him the next day and then he came in on a Saturday just to check my boyfriends eye he was awesome did a great job on on his eye

My husband and friends were staying in Custer this past week for the Sturgis rally. I had an eye issue and was referred to a local optometrist who saw me after hours. It was determined I needed to see an opthamologist. He got in touch with Dr. Slingsby. I was able to see Dr. Slingsby the next morning. Surgery was done for a torn retina within a few hours and we were on our way. I have never been treated so promptly by any Dr. Being on vacation and not familiar with the area was a bit overwhelming. All that fear was gone after the wonderful treatment by the Drs. Involved and the clinic staff. Thank you all!! Deb Dakich

If you have past medical records on your condition you should be prepared to spend time and money on the same exact test to be done over multiple visits

I had a procedure with him and had a complication. It was one he specifically said could happen and it did. When I called back to get the complication taken care of, I was denied service. Maybe it was because I was a VA patient using Veteran's Choice, I do not know because they would not say. I had to go elsewhere to get care for the complication. I think this was very unprofessional and for that reason can not recommend him.
