What time was adequate for what I expected it to be doctors and nurses or whatever they're called we're all great ask questions listen to the answers discuss with me what was needed in the future and set up another appointment letting me know what was going on the whole time

Dr. Taylor Slingsby diagnosed the cause of my eye floaters. He was very thorough and efficient during the examination. He took time to explain the symptoms and the exam results. He took time to answer my questions. As soon as he found the tear in the retina, he suggested and promptly set up and performed a laser treatment. He was pleasant, and acted professionally during the whole process. I knew I was in good hands with Dr Slingsby and CEI.

At The Cincinnati Eye Institute, Dr Slingsby examined my left eye for a possible torn retina. After discovering the tear, he highly recommended I have the tear repaired ASAP to prevent total detachment of my retina. He offered to perform the procedure immediately after the examination if I was ready. My niece had experienced a total detachment of her retina in both eyes and from her description of the two separate incidents, I didn't want to go through the mess of a total detachment. I immediately agreed to let Dr. Slingsby perform the procedure to repair my partially detached retina. I was somewhat concerned about the procedure to fix it as it involved a laser. He assured me he had done this procedure many times. Using a special laser, he did the operation in about 15 minutes and it was a total success. I received my second follow up visit yesterday with Dr Slingsby and my retina has healed perfectly. I have a final follow up visit scheduled in 6 months.
