Dr Strand and his team were stellar in helping my daughter have a successful gastric bypass and a gallbladder removal. They were kind and courteous with her and the family. They explained things to point where everyone understood what was happening. They were not condescending at all. I would recommend Dr Strand to anyone.

Dr. Strand and his staff have been amazing for me from start to finish. Everyone has been friendly, easy to talk to, answered all my questions, called to check on me after discharge (probably more than i wanted to actually answer my phone but in this case I'd rather have too much concern than not enough). Would highly recommend to anyone seeking bariatric surgery!

VERY POOR experience, Hernia surgery 6 months ago, more pain now than before, and they will not return phone calls to try and fix the problem, very unprofessional way of handling patients

I met Dr Strand due to my appendix blowing out almost four years ago. I recently sought him out to do tests on and remove my gallbladder. I've also had a colonoscopy and endoscopy with him. He is very thorough and easy to talk with. He is honesy and will give best options. He keeps an open mind till the test results come back. He seems to be a very confident, however, humble doctor. I have complete faith in him and will seek him out for any more procedures I may have to have in the future

I believe that Dr. Strand is one of the best surgeons in the Sioux Falls, SD area. He is very easy to talk to, gives you options, but most of all he is very caring about his patients.

Waited for 1 hour past appt time, saw physician for about 30 seconds, second time going back for the same problem and told (again) to come back if it flares up again.

After having gone through a series of tests, Doc was able to pinpoint my problem and fixed it the same day in surgery. Have not had any problems since.
