I met Dr Strand due to my appendix blowing out almost four years ago. I recently sought him out to do tests on and remove my gallbladder. Ive also had a colonoscopy and endoscopy with him. He is very thorough and easy to talk with. He is honesy and will give best options. He keeps an open mind till the test results come back. He seems to be a very confident however humble doctor. I have complete faith in him and will seek him out for any more procedures I may have to have in the future

I believe that Dr. Strand is one of the best surgeons in the Sioux Falls SD area. He is very easy to talk to gives you options but most of all he is very caring about his patients.

Did not take time to connect with me as the patient at all the day of the surgery and when there were complications he did not answer to what the problems were. He noted that his policy is not to see patients either before or after surgery. Did not give complete explanation for complications that happened during surgery. He is hard to get a hold of to get any help or answers to questions postsurgery.
