Staff isn’t truthful when answering questions & relaying information prior to move in. This says a lot. Now we have a loved one inside & the director/staff from the memory care unit only communicates with one person on the outside and both directors have no regards to their patients wife on the outside. The sensitivity to this matter is beyond hurtful to both patient & wife. I wouldn’t recommend this staff to anyone no matter how ‘luxury’ the place is. Honesty trumps luxury by far!

I am a current employee at grand Living at lake Lorraine. I have worked in senior living for the last 16 years and feel so fortunate to call this community my work family. The staff are wonderful, the environment is positive, and we are treated with respect. I am so thankful to be apart of this team.

My Mom has been telling me that their food has been going downhill since their Chef left Tonite her Thanksgiving night meal was delivered after calling down to the desk at 5:30 because it hadn’t been delivered. Can’t believe the poor quality of the food, and sent without a beverage, salty, fatty ham sandwich on dry croissant, salty potato chips , pre packaged peanut butter cookie & small wrapped piece of candy. Also a very bruised orange or grapefruit ( couldn’t tell) I’m very disappointed as when we came to visit Grand Living prior to my mom moving in, we were served an absolutely wonderful meal My mom has been complaining for awhile but I didn’t really get the picture until now

Receptionist greeted us and pointed us in the right direction, upon leaving also invited us to return again. Nothing said about our service dog for the blind. Very nice facility with nice assisted living facility, it didn't look or feel institutional, but warm and homey!
