I went to see Dr. Chang for a herniated disc and extrusion. He was very thorough with his analysis, and with his explanation of what the steps were for the procedure that was recommended. He scheduled the procedure for that afternoon, which was a blessing considering the amount of pain I was in.During the procedure, he explained each step of what he was doing, and what it would feel like to me as he was doing it. His nurse staff also helped me with how to breathe through it, and it was well worth it!I would highly recommend Dr. Chang to anyone who needs assistance with back pain! He was thoughtful and caring as he helped me through the process.

I have visited with Dr. Chang at the Orthopedic Institute in Sioux Falls on two occasions, both regarding nerve testing. He is professional, knowledgeable, and his bedside manner absolute stellar! I'm looking into acupuncture treatments and he is the only person I would consider. Excellent specialist! Debbie

Dr Chang went above and beyond! I was having a tough day and messed up on my appointment time and was 15 minutes late when I thought I was right on time. I was in tears he couldn’t see me as my schedule is so busy I had to drop the kids off and had an hour round trip just to get to my appointment from daycare. He had compassion and even though he had a tight schedule he allowed me the time slot which probably threw off his day. He has no idea how much this made my day as I had to have to have this nerve study in order to schedule the surgery to help with my pain that has increasingly gotten worse the last 3 years! Thank you Dr Chang!

He made time for early emergency treatment. His calm and friendly manner reduced my irrational fear. I laid down as a painwracked shaking patient after about 15 minutes I got up wondering what had happened. No pain. After 25 days of pain I like to live again Thank you thank you
