Performs major surgery then leaves for vacation leaving patient in the care of incompetent staff. Nothing but complications and nobody has an any common sense. Patient is barely taken care of. What a sorry excuse for a medical facility.

I met Dr. Person under an emergency-type situation. My digestion tract was in bad shape from previous surgeries during a bout with Cancer. I became very, very sick. Soon, Dr. Person performed surgery on me and, not only saved my life, but made my abdomen look pretty again. I love the straight-forward approach that Dr. Person takes in handling his patients ... no beating around the bush. He also has a wonderful team. Thank you so much Dr. Person!

Incompetent and uncaring. Our Father died under his care. I would warn everyone that sees this "doctor," to be wary. The care at Avera Hospital, the hospital this "doctor" works at, lacked skill and compassion also. This experience was disastrous and one we may never recover from.
