Everyone treated me very, very well. Surgery went well and My recovery is going great. However, there apparently was a miscommunication between nurse and Doctor. Family told nurse they would be waiting out in the waiting room. Doctor went to my room, no one there. He did not go to the surgery waiting room to find them. They did not know surgery was finished and that I was in recovery until I got out of recovery. They were worried needlessly. He did come to talk with us after the fact.

After seeing Dr. Garry advertised in the Norfolk shopper, I assumed he was a local breast surgeon. Not only is he out of South Dakota but he’s very disingenuous when he says he is a ‘breast surgery specialist’. There is only one actual breast surgeon in Norfolk. She’s a true breast surgeon because she had gone through extra schooling after general surgery called a ‘fellowship’, which makes her way more qualified. That makes her a true breast specialist/ breast surgical oncologist. - don’t be fooled false advertisements. My experience with the actual breast surgeon, Dr. Norris, was definitely five stars. Make sure you do your research on who is more qualified like I did!!

Doc and his nurse were both very helpful for me. They got me in and out in pretty quick but never rushed the process. Took time to explain everything for me and my wife.

Dr Garry is my surgeon for a very complicated disease. He is professional, extremely well trained in delicate procedures, straight forward in explaining all risks, and is great with following up. Proud to have him on my Medical Team!
