He has been my parents physician for years and been extremely considerate and patient with them. The staff has been attentive to their concerns and questions. MANY questions.
I’ve been a patient of Dr. Pearson’s for 3 1/2 years. He’s an excellent phys I wouldn’t trade any Other doctor for him. He’s knowledgeable in all areas, Which of course saves you money! LOL. I would recommend him to anyone.
I have been visiting this doctor for about 16 months. This led to a bill of over two thousand dollars in tests. I was never received a treatment, just a lot of testing and I was billed this amount over and above what my insurance paid. Recently, I wanted to see him as a part of my annual physical, with a co-pay of zero. To my surprise I received a bill of over 200 dollars for this visit, only after 2 months! When I inquired about it, I was informed that the doctor classified the visit as a follow up and not physical. However, the staff at his office still say that I had an appointment for 'physical'. In addition during my visits to him, I never found him patient enough to listen to me. He was always rushing the visits. I would never recommend this doctor.
The staff is very unprofessional. I have never received any my test reports back after annual medical exam. The scheduling is rigid and unaccommodating. I had been OK with this for 1.5 years but my wife's recent experience with their staff, especially Robin, responsible for billing, has been very bad. Robin wrongfully marked an annual visit as a followup visit and won't acknowledge it even after the front desk staff contradicts her. We will continue to contest this claim and will caution our friends and family about unnecessary charges due to administrative miscommunication.
I think Dr.Pearson is the best doctor I ha've ever been too, after many doctors just said iit was old age, he took the time an talk to me, run the right tests, an I had a 99 percent blockage he save my life...
I’ve been a RN for 11 years, worked on a cardiac floor, been an ICU RN, a floor manager of a medical/surgical unit and currently in home health. I’ve been around a lot of MDs and Dr Pearson is one of the best. I chose him as my Doctor after witnessing his excellent bedside manner with patients and professionals interaction with nurses in the hospital. He is thorough, respectful, listens to his patients and I have never felt rushed at one of his appointments
Dr. Pearson is extremely knowledgeable, patient and professional. But, above all, he genuinely cares about his patients. He takes time to discuss any issues thoroughly and never seems to be in a rush.

Dr. Pearson needs to work on his patient-focused communication. He belittles patients, and rebuffs questions. His arrogance and "my way or the highway" approach has no place in modern medical practice.
I had the same primary care doctor my entire upbringing and when I moved to Johnson City I needed to find another one. I was referred to Dr. Pearson by a coworker who goes to him and has taken their kids to him since they were young. Dr Pearson has treated me with the care and respect of a true “family physician” and when my fiancé and I have children I would be happy to let him be their primary care doctor as they grow into adults. I can’t speak for the negative reviewers but I think he listens well in order to fully understand any situation I’m in and strives to give me proper treatment.
If there were no stars I would give it to him.I have been a Nurse for 30 years and never have I been badgered by ANYONE in my life the way he did on a recent visit.
I went to this practice for three years, once a year for well care visits. This led to seven thousand dollars in testing. I never had a complaint and never received any treatment, just more testing so they could bill me on top of well care insurance payments. When I questioned the amount of testing since no treatment resulted from it, the Dr became hostile in his tone and language. He could not believe I had questions, about my own healthcare. The practice then arrogantly booked more testing without my knowledge and attempted to confirm this visit six months later. Steer clear of this practice.
I always have to wait a long time. The staff is consistently unfriendly (except for the nurses). The doctor always acts very rushed.
