Dr Rebele and Dr Russo and the rules of this practice are absurd. I am not one to write reviews. But women looking for a fair and kind practice should know that this practice cares more about their own rules and money than their patients. My first son was born in California (one of the most expensive places to live) and it was half the price to deliver there than here AND with a high risk doctor. Additionally, I was originally seeing Dr Rebele who was not only 1 hour late to every appointment but then would not allow me to see another Dr (dr Russo) in the practice because it was a “rule”. Even though I felt a lot more comfortable with the other dr. I should be allowed to have whichever Dr deliver my baby that I feel comfortable with. And so should you. Don’t go through this headache. Find someone else.FOLLOW UP/ UPDATE: I forgot to mention that after writing this review they had someone call me and tell me that I wasn’t allowed back at the practice because of my review. Come to your own conclusions, but that is unacceptable.

Dr Rebele is amazing! She delivered my son I can only say good things about her. Very professional and kind! The people in the office are also nice.

Love me some Dr. Rebele. One of the best OBGyn’s in Nashville who delivered our two kids.

I went to see Dr. Rebele because I was having symptoms of a UTI. Dr. Rebele examined me, noticed that I had a razor cut in my bikini area and told me she thought I had HERPES. I didn't have much money to begin with and ended up spending almost $200 at other health centers on STD testing, blood testing, etc. that Dr. Rebele advised I needed ASAP. In my exam at the Nashville Public Health Clinic not even 24 hours later, the nurse practitioner told me "this looks like a razor cut, I don't know why someone would think this is herpes."I was obviously crying when I left the office thinking I had an incurable disease and when I tried to pay at the desk, the secretary told me "not to worry about it, they'd take care of it." Fast forward a month later when I'm hit with a $150 bill! Now I'm hundreds of dollars in the hole because of this poor medical advice. Herpes free thank god, but broke... not to mention the tremendous amount of mental stress from the situation.Contacted Heritage's supervisor and it took me MONTHS to get her on the phone after multiple messages. Finally got through when I called the front desk and told them I needed to set up a meeting in person if she wasn't going to return my calls. The supervisor said she'd speak with Dr. Rebele and get back to me, and she never did.I've spoken with multiple providers since and they've said the way I was treated was completely unprofessional. I highly advise against visiting this office, I definitely won't be back and don't trust Dr. Rebele's medical advice.
Dr. Rebele saw me throughout my pregnancy and delivered my baby girl. She was always super thorough with all my testing and always gave me peace of mind as a first time mom. When it came down to my labor she was consistently at the hospital checking on me! I had heard so many friends and family say that I shouldn't expect to see my doctor until the very end - that wasn't the case with her! I hated to move and leave her behind, I contemplated driving 2 hours to see her still! If you want a great birthing experience, see Dr. Rebele!
Excellent OBGyn!

Sweet and kind don't make up for the lack of experience nor the blatant disregard for keeping patients informed on decisions. Excuses constantly fall on lab techs and, as far as "care", it's obviously nonexistent. Our experience has been HELL and I believe, as a professional, 24+ hours with nothing more than a phone call to an active patient, is ridiculous. It seems anyone with a pair of scrubs is considered an MD nowadays. We've lost faith in the medical field and OB/GYNs entirely.
As far as Dr Rebele goes, she is a good MD. As far as the communication with that office, it is absolutely awful. Before I went to have an IUD inserted, I made sure multiple times my insurance would cover it. Everything was covered and ready to go. During the procedure, it was so painful that I flinched and it didn’t go in all the way so she had to remove it. She never warned me I was going to flinch or anything before she did it but said it was common for that response to happen and that I could just come back in and be put under anesthesia to do it instead in a couple weeks. Again, made sure I would not owe any money from the anesthesia or anything. A couple weeks later, I got a bill for the first insertion that had complications for over $1,000. When I tried to dispute it all with the billing office and my insurance company on 3 way, the billing office tried to tell me it was my fault for flinching and I had to be charged for it even though I never left the office with it since I used two IUDs and my insurance only allows 1 per year. The HMA billing lady was very rude on the phone and kept interrupting me while I was trying to talk. Even my insurance company said the were doing me so wrong with the issue & is trying all they can to try to cover for HMA’s complication.
I went to Dr. Rebele for my first time today. I have never found a gynocologist that I actually like. I am extremely picky with who I have for my OBGYN for obvious reasons, it gets personal.. and you want to feel comfortable! She is polite, answered my questions thoroughly and actually talked with me about my concerns and did not make me feel rushed. She had great bedside manners as well. The office ladies were really polite and my wait wasn't very long at all.
