The good news is that the techs are AWESOME, making the cleanings and other work a relaxed breeze. Have to say, though, that like so many dentists Ive ever been to, the procedures (why theyre being done, what is being done, what follow up will be needed) are not explained at ALL! Ive asked questions, and the answers have been vague or in dentalese. None of the paperwork ever reflects any details of what has taken place. The postsurgery stuff they give you is just copy and paste for everything they do. Anyhoo, Im still a fan of the overall vibe of this office and the work they do, so Ill keep going, but a little more info would be nice since its, ya know, MY mouth.
If you are looking for a dentist with an excellent staff...look no further. Dr Dillard has taken care of my teeth for several years. I first came to her terrified because I have had issues with TMJ and bad and missing teeth. I was so embarrassed, however she and her staff has put me at ease and actually looking forward to dental visits.
No complaints. Every experience Ive had there has been solid.
I went to Dr. Dillard for a cosmetic consultation. While there, they did a cleaning. She was very busy that day and told me she would email me. 6 weeks go by and no email, its fine things happen. I called and they told me they would call me back. Still nothing. This was 9 days ago. Very unprofessional. The entire reason i went was for cosmetic work. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
Amazing staff and lots of knowledge. They are informative and caring. I will continue to use this office as my primary dental office. The location is easy to find and the office is extremely clean and well organized.
Went there due to my husband going thinking we could have the same dentist. Went only for a cleaning but she came in to check my teeth through the middle of the cleaning and then commented on how crooked my bottom teeth were and what a waste of time with braces. My bottom teeth are VERY straight except one tooth is a little crooked. My husband stated how she will do VIDEO CALLS to check on her patients teeth during cleaning due to her having children. Dont own a business if you cant be there or close the office. Im never returning and I wouldnt recommend going.
Dr. Dillard drilled too far in my young daughters mouth where we had to go to another doctor to have it fixed. The office staff, along with Dr. Dillard are so caddy they talk the whole time and never pay attention to the patients & what they are supposed to be doing. It really is pathetic.
Staff makes you feel like family so caring and compassionate. Dr. Dillard is so laid back and very skilled! And I have a fear of dentists and Dr. Dillard and her staff put me at ease.
Have been seeing Dr. Dillard since I moved to Nashville about 4 years ago. They have done an excellent job with normal 6 month appointments and an awesome job with larger scale work I have had done. We did a mixture of crowns and Veneers, 8 on top, 6 on bottom. They clearly explained everything that was going to be required, the time it would take etc. They were very receptive to my work schedule(Lots of Out of Country Travel) and easy to schedule appts with. Great Job !!!
I have with Dr. Dillard for over a year now. She and her staff are professional and personalable . I actually look forward to going to the dentist now. Dr. Dillard will go above and beyond to make sure the job they do is perfect. Most of all I love my smile and health of my teeth!
Terrible. All they care about is money, not about your teeth. Relentless calling and charging of fees. Would not recommend to anyone. Thought I could go back with just a cleaning but all they do is try to talk money to make you spend it all until the next year where they do the same thing. They act like your teeth are good but when the actual dentist comes in they say how horrible your teeth are, which means more money. Dont waste your time. Pathetic.
If you would like to be in pain and cheated out of money, then Dr. Leslie Dillard is the dentist for you. Went in to get a teeth cleaning and was asked why I didnt come to get a cavity filled. Come to find out the hygienist didnt tell me of my cavity and with time it became worse. The cavity then needed to have a crown, which in turn was the worst of it all. I was told It wont hurt at all which turned into terrible pain with Dr. Dillard coming in and asking why I refused pain medicine (when I did not). End result was terrible and found out that they had charged a family member with the same healthcare plan more money for the same services than me. Needless to say, dont go there!
Im a grad student, I dont have dental insurance, I hadnt been to a dentist in some obscene amount of time, and I found a huge cavity on one of my molars. Dr. Dillard warned that I might need a root canal, along with a crown for that tooth and its neighbor. However, they were able to take care of me with just the one crown, avoiding unnecessary work (and expense). While I was in the chair, they worked efficiently, were as gentle as they could have been, and checked in frequently to make sure I wasnt in pain. They were helpful and flexible with my financial situation and have worked with me to schedule a treatment plan that fits my budget. The ladies who work up front are super nice, too!
We had a great experience with Dr. Dillard. We were in Nashville visiting friends when my wife fell and chipped her front tooth. We needed a local dentist who was trustworthy and economical and was recommended to Dr. Dillard by a local friend. The fact that it was New Years Eve and we werent from the area, the staff was friendly and accommodated us quickly. My wife was horrified of her chipped tooth, but Dr. Dillard had her fixed in no time and at a great price. If we lived in Nashville, this is where we would go. Thanks Dr. Dillard!
I just went to Dr. Dillards office for the first time and i am very impressed. As the other yelper states the attitude and personalities of the Dr. and the Staff are what blew me away. I actually felt very comfortable and tha isnt something I have ever said about going to a dr or dentist. They are all very warm people and are wonderful at explaining everything to you once you down in the chair. I will do another review after I get the extensive work done that i have scheduled now.
Dr. Leslie Dillard is a practicing dentist and oral surgeon with two offices in Nashville, one in downtown, and a second on Belle Forest Circle. I had a great experience with Dr. Dillard. The office is very efficient and the staff is courteous. The office building itself is very clean and new. Everything looks really good. But, really it was the attitude of the staff and the dentist that made the experience good. They were very thorough but still very fast. I had my teeth cleaned and had several cavities filled in a very short amount of time. After the cleaning, the dentist went over the xrays and gave her recommendations. She suggested we go ahead and fill the cavities, there was no reason to schedule another appointment because everything could be taken care of that day in a matter on minutes. This is a great dentist office with a focus on patient care, and getting things done efficiently.
