We actually love Dr. Kochar, so I hate for this to all get put on her! But... The call center to leave a message for the nurse to call you back is HORRIBLE!!!! I have left 45 message over a 23 week period and have yet to get a callback. My husband is at 20% kidney functioning and they just dont care. I just transferred him to Memorial Hermann in Downtown. Calls are returned the same day and usually in a couple of hours. They are way more organized!! Bye Bye UTMB!! Dr. Kochar should move to a new hospital!!
She is extremely knowledgeable, accessible, caring, and its very easy to schedule appointments with as her staff is very friendly. There is rarely a wait and I appreciate the extreme efficiency with which she manages her patients. She is probably the top nephrologist in Texas if not in the US. I’m amazed by how very professional, polite, positive and down to Earth person she is. PS – She is not bad to look at either. Beauty and brains, definitely a rare combination
Will never see her again. Attitude problem and not knowledgeable
I tried this new doctor but unfortunately she is not very experienced. I have some kidney issues and was previously on dialysis but her lack of experience and knowledge in the areas of my health issues she was of no help. Will not bother to see her again. Staff is arrogant
My Mom sees Dr Kochar and she is the sweetest lady.We absolutely adore her. She thoroughly explains everything and is extremely patient and very caring with her pts. We could never say anything bad about her, I wish more physicians were like her. A+++++
