List of Aaron Bussey's Reviews
Dr. Bussey treated me with honesty, respect, and took the time to do a thorough exam and consultation. I normally am very nervous about visiting doctors. I was treated terribly by a previous endocrinologist and decided to give it a second try. Dr. Bussey made it a second try worth taking!
Arrogant, condescending man. Thinks a bit too highly of himself. Dismisses patients who disagree or question him. Skip this one.
Dr Bussey dismissed me as his patient after my GYN told me to call & ask to see him at my next visit because I had some serious medical issues & questions I needed him to address. I never said anything but very positive comments about his staff & especially his NP - Carrie Wallace, who I told the office manager, I really liked Ms Wallace & she’d helped me but my other doctor wanted Dr Bussey to address my medical issues going on. The offc manager told me he didn’t see patients & it wasn’t their protocol to have me see the doctor after almost 4 years & seeing him only the first visit. She said she didn’t believe my GYN had requested me see Dr Bussey, that no one did that anymore. I told her, before I came there, I’d seen two other Endocrinologists who had retired & both of them always saw me. She said I was lying, she did not believe a word of that, but that she’d talk w/Dr Bussey & call me back w/when or if he’d see me. I received a letter he wrote the next week, claiming I’d insulted his NP & he dismissed me as a patient. I trusted, admired & respected Ms Wallace & would never said anything negative about her helping me. I would gave her a 10 rating 1-10, 10 being excellent. A year later, another doctor worked w/me, had a lot of tests run & found I was in third stage kidney failure & numerous other conditions going on. If Dr Bussey had seen me & listen he may have been able to help me before these issues got worse. If it was his office manager who told him untruths, he should at least called and ask me what was going on, but he dismissed me w/out even checking to see what all I had happening. . Very disappointing & I really liked & trusted his staff. Ms Wallace, nor I should have had to deal with this happening. This was very unprofessional of them.
I’ve seen Dr. Bussey a few times over the last couple of years and I really like him. He listens and does a through exam. His staff is courteous and efficient. I came to him for a second opinion and stayed for follow up care.
I recently posted an accurate but somewhat hard review of Dr Bussy and his staff. That review was taken down, but that's OK. My husband and I want to thank Dr Bussy for taking care of the issues that we have had in the past and we look forward to seeing you at his next appointment. Much thanks again.
Dr. Bussey is incredibly rude. He is condescending to his patients, defensive when you call him out for his attitude, and he does not listen to his patients' concerns-- rather, he seems to want the appointment over with as quickly as possible, so instead of earnestly talking with the patient about different options, he almost seems to present an ultimatum in a standoffish manner with no consideration for what the patient is trying to communicate. His nurses are typically great, but any interaction with him feels like time lost, because he makes you feel more like another diabetic statistic rather than a diabetic individual. Overall, attitude goes a long way in creating a trusting doctor-patient relationship, and he is incredibly lacking in this department.
I found him to have an attitude, rude, talked only about what a great doctor he was. Didn’t think other doctors were as good. Would rather suffer than be treated by him.
Excellent. So grateful I was referred to him.
I’ve been with this group for several years they have always gone above and beyond for me.
Ty, the nurse practitioner, was AMAZING! She took the time to listen to me, and to educate me about my diabetes. Dr. Bussey was quite pleasant. All around a very good experience!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
