Tried to make an appointment today and I am apparently not welcome at UT Family Physicians. Dr Cobb took over for Dr Deets several years ago but I have not needed to visit the doctor for some time. Today I was told that because I have not been to the doctor in so long I am considered a new patient and because I do not have insurance they will not accept me as a patient. Does my money not spend? Am I a second-class citizen? I could've sworn my money was legal tender for all debts public and private, but apparently that is not the case at UT Family Physicians. The receptionist on the phone made a nice disdainful "ugh" when I responded that I did not have insurance. Greatest country on earth right? Best healthcare in america right? Thanks for absolutely nothing.

The most amazing dr. I've ever had And hated moving out of state because it's been horrible even trying to get A dr. Period And to understand what I've been through And my conditions Like dr. Cobb was the most understanding dr. Anyone could ever have ...... I miss her dearly I'm just want to say I've appreciate everything she's done to help me with doctos And makung sure i have my refills here in this state and my husband Brian both have seen her for many many years If we weren't so far away I would deffinally make the drive just to see my Dr....

Companionate, caring and very knowledgeable! It’s Hard to find a doctor that doesn’t make you wait forever but yet makes you feel like your valued during your visit!! I’m so glad I found De.Cobb when I moved to TN!!
