He LISTENS. He is about quality of life. Not pain meds. He doesn't abide by the "just getting older" mantra. And not once did he tell me to lose weight. He has given me epidural/steroid shots in my spine and sacroiliac joint and knee. Very explanatory and about comfort level of the patient. Having shots in my spine required me to go the surgical center at Blount Memorial (staff is excellent and fun while very professional. Give me a surgical nurse or their staff to hang out with any time) I had to bear my backside, face down on surgical table. Not once was I uncomfortable or exposed openly. (But poor Dr Bunch. Literally...Butt) Best bedside manner of any Dr I have met. His staff is GREAT, very knowledgeable and FUN. Easy appointments. Great follow-up and very successful outcomes of my procedures. And he is very kind about questions. I would send my kids to him. Other medical professionals could stand to learn from him and his staff how to treat women in pain.
