William Leone's Online Review Report Card

I went to the PMG in Murfreesboro, and I am very disappointed in one particular NURSE PRACTITIONER (Joelle M Krizner). She treated me like a drug addict. I have L4 to the sacrum crushed and can hardly walk. This woman is rude, does not listen, and is totally obnoxious to be working in any clinic. Since then I have had to get cardiac clearance from my cardiologist at St. Thomas who just sent me for more X-rays. I think I have reached my max radiation for the last two years. When I asked Joelle if they had my records her reply was that they lost them. That is totally unacceptable and not professional. The pain pills are making me sick, Dr. Ivan Stoev at Southern Hills is the only one who has acted on this and has set down and explained everything to me. Surgery is out of the question right now, it will put me totally helpless for six months to a year. What is wrong with all these people?

Say him for almost 19 yrs. Great place to go.

First, I would like to point out that one of the people who gave this doctor a five-star rating is clearly related to him. I was a patient of Dr. Leone for many years, although I saw him only once and then from then on was able to see only nurse practitioners. So, don't expect you'll see this doctor on a regular basis. Some members of his staff are rude and dismissive. His main staff member I saw, Ambre Maze, was nice, but she told me very personal and unpleasant things about Dr. Leone, which I found to be quite unprofessional and it made me uncomfortable. This practice is so large that you will feel like a chart number. Eventually, I became so unhappy that I decided I could no longer stay with this practice. It was a hard decision and I was really disappointed.

This group has the WORST staff and admin staff just like every pain clinic in Nashville, NONE of them returns my calls and they will not work out a payment plant for outpatient procedures. Whoever the director is, get ready because you are about to get an earful from me. I would have been fired had I ever conducted myself like the staff does. The lack of their staff's competence has pushed me to the brink and I am on a fixed income, but I pay my bills. I understand people need to be paid, but do your job! If I call 5 times and No one returns my calls, that is absolutely unacceptable. Well, now I am calling every single one of you out and I am an upstanding person in the medical community here......I appreciate the kindness and compassion of Drs. Leone and Miller, but that is the extent.

I have been going to a previous clinic for 2+ years and the care that I received there was very effective and gave me a greater quality of life. They treated me with injections, therapy and medicine. I was able to work, exercise, play with my child, etc. Life was great. Well I changed clinics to pmg and was seen by Dr Leone. I felt he was a nice person who generally cares. That's great and all but I felt his medical opinions was off and even against what many other dr's was consistent with. He began changing my previous diagnosis and plan of care, that has been very effective in my past years of treatment by other dr's. I explained to him how important keeping my pain under control was in my life for my ability to work to be able to afford my bills, play with my child, etc. Its like he ignored the importance of my life responsibilities. He changed a previous nerve block, that was very effective in treating my pain in the past, as well as changed medications(non narcotic) that was lowering my need for stronger narcotic medicine to help control my pain. I feel he is a decent person but has bad medical decisions for some of his patients. I plan on staying with the same clinic but under another dr's care within the same clinic...

Dr. Leone has really shaped this place up. Truly care about and your pain.

This practice used to be one of the best pain clinics, but after Dr. Leone took sole ownership, it became the worst. The doctors and nurse practioners would not listen to their patients and when I was fed up with mine and asked to be assigned to a new doctor, it was refused and mine told me he would never see me again. I had been with an excellent doctor there for five years prior to this time who was fired along with all the other doctors when Dr. Leone took sole ownership.
