Make sure your insurance also accepts the labor and delivery hospital they use or else they will have the receptionist call and drop you like a hotcake, without warning, or kindness in giving you a choice to keep the same obgyn but just go to a different hospital

I'm not sure about this so I'll just describe what happened.... I arrived to my appt early for paperwork, then waited more than 30" to be taken back. then waited 1.5 hours in a cold room only to be told that the dr needs to leave to deliver a baby. What I felt was that it was rude to make a pt wait 2 hrs only to cancel the appt. It is rude to do this to people and shows there is no respect for people's time. But, is this the norm here? I came from an HMO where this never happened because there were many Dr's to cover eachother, so maybe this is normal, I don't know. Then to reschedule I had to wait more than 2 months out? I'll be talking to the MD that referred me to Dr. Uribe and asking if this is considered the norm here. If it is, I am not happy about it and will probably find my own Dr.

She truly takes the time with me to discuss my health and wellness. She pays close attention to my needs and wants. She is stellar!

Unfortunately couldn't even see the doctor as her staff was incredibly rude. I called to make an appointment and they wouldn't even bother scheduling one before they received all my medical records. The woman on the phone treated us like we were burden for calling to schedule an appointment and like I said flat out refused to schedule one. I've heard great things about the doctor so it's a shame that her staff is literally turning people away.

Took my daughter recently to see Dr. Uribe and she was excellent with her. She took the time to actually talk to her as a person without all the doctor language. I would highly recommend her. She took the time needed to answer our questions and she never made us feel that we weren't important and she reassured us that our questions were valid ones. She's a rare gem for Athens to have such a dedicated doctor who doesn't stop until she gets the answers she needs and she never came across cold and like we were wasting her time.

love her to death she is great i will not see anyone else but her she the best.

i would like to say that DR.URIBE IS GREAT SHE HAS DONE SO MUCH FOR ME SHE SAVED MY LIFE AND IM SO THANKFUL SHE IS MY DR AND SHE CARES ABOUT HER PATIENCES. SO THANK YOU SO MUCH DR.URIBE YOUR THE BEST. THANK YOU JESSICA BEASLEY

She delivered our first son, we was very impressed with her and the team at Athens Starr medical. Thank you. We will be back!

Patient BEWARE I wouldn’t send anyone to her ever! I came to her with fertility issues and she made rude remarks and left as quick as she came in. Extremely rude, zero help, no labs, no plans, zilch. Do yourself a favor and if you want a doctor to care go anywhere else. . She has zero bedside manner and was completely wrong in her diagnosis and led me to believe it was impossible to have my fertility. My problem was later easily fixed by a different doctor who actually did their job and cared!

She makes you feel comfortable, and she is quite humorous.
