Douglas Lawrence O'dea's Online Review Report Card

A terrible human being that does not care about his patients he just recently sent my grandmother an email and said that he would no longer have her as a patient and his daughter said that she would not take her on a patient even though my grandmother has been going to him for 40+ years. Do not even consider using them as your doctor go somewhere else

I’ve seen Dr O’Dea for many years. I’ve told him that he cannot retire until I die. He’s like family. He’s seen me through some rough patches and I’m still here. The office staff are all super also. Don’t know any by name except Ms Pat.

Very unprofessional and rude. Nurse practitioner is better than O' Dea. Staff is ok,

he mansplains about things he knows nothing about and was not willing to listen at all. he is dismissive and rude.

Outstanding staff and service! Specifically Miles Benjamin. I was referred by a friend because of ongoing health issues that other doctors could not figure out. Miles told me on my first visit, “we will help you and figure this out”. He DID and I have been so impressed with him and the quality of service that has MET that promise and even exceeded my expectation! Highest recommendation without hesitation!!

At first O'dea seemed like a caring, decent fellow. He seemed open-minded and gave me testorone. I have always had chronic pain since I was a child, and it gets horribly worse every year. He was my general practitioner at the time, so I wanted to talk to the doctor I thought I trusted and cared about me. He started screaming at me. I'm not exaggerating. I was in shock, I don't remember every word he said though I wish I did. He told me I was an ADDICT. Then, he went on about how I sit in my room all day and do nothing. You don't know me, O'dea. But the worst thing he could had ever said and the most cruel and uncalled for, "What are you gonna do when your mom dies?" while she is sitting next to me. I had to stay still before speaking so I wouldn't attack him. I told him, calmly, quietly, "I don't like to hear that." He went on about how one day he'll die too, then stormed out and slammed the door. You're a doctor. You're supposed to be a healer. I hope that day comes for you soon.

Dr O'Dea is a great doctor , He's good natured, a great internist. HE'S DONE A GREAT JOB FOR ME AND MY WIFE FOR OVER 30 YEARS ....

Great Doctor, takes time to listen and then provided his opinion. Treats you as a Patient not another person to help fulfill the corporate Patient head count quota for the day.

Dr.Odea and his staff are 1st class patient advocates! They work hard to educate you and help you understand whatever is going on. He is one of the nicest people around and he will tell you what you need to hear in a kind and compassionate way. He has a very busy practice but does not make you feel rushed.

Dr. O'dea is one of my favorite doctors of all times. He's extremely knowledgable, friendly, personable, and takes the time to make you feel he really cares about you. I highly trust and recommend Dr. O'dea!
