I have been with Dr smith for many many years he is my guiding light through some tuff stuff he is my safe space, he has helped me so much and I am so comfortable in telling him everything because he cares!!!! He is a blessing to me and my children! He understands me, he pushes me, he is my favorite doctor!!! My biggest fear one day he will retire and I will loose the one person who understands it all. 10/10 recommend he does get busy and you must be patient at times but he’s one of few doctors who keep it real with you and cares like whole heartedly cares!!!!!

My visit was all the proof I needed that showed why the Tennessee prescribing Laws continually make it harder and harder for the mentally ill to shed responsibility for the state to make it virtually impossible for all of us to receive the medications which have worked perfectly for decades.

Dr. Eric L. Smith of NE Baptist Hospital was my surgeon for my 2nd total knee replacement. It’s been a year since my successful surgery.. I am so grateful to him, his office staff and the Baptist Hospital team. My first knee replacement in 2019 at BI was the worst medical experience of my life. I rate my second knee replacement success on these factors: Dr. Smith is a skilled surgeon. We met, I explained my fears, he took a lot of time and talked about how my surgery would go. I opted for the Conformast knee which is a custom knee molded to your leg. It made a HUGE difference in my successful recovery . I highly recommend it. It’s marketed towards athletes, but I notice a difference when I compare my knees. Pain Management - The opioid epidemic has forced docs to cut way back on pain meds. I believe the pendulum has swung too far in the current direction. That said, I was not denied the refills I needed for successful physical therapy. Physical Therapy - I would not consider knee replacement surgery unless you commit to P.T. My knees will never be like my young knees, I still force myself to do the exercises because they work. I recommend Dr. Smith.

I can't express how terrible the office staff is. And if you need anything dont expect any help from the office staff. The nurse, Samantha is amazing. She has helped me so much on my journey of healing from depression and anxiety. They are always there to help anyway they can.

Been his patient for 14 years. He spends a lot of time listening, taking notes, thoroughly explaining distress disorders, medications, alternative options. He truly cares. The only downside is that it takes forever to get any forms completed.

I love dr Smith. He is the only dr I trust talking to. He is a very caring man I don't know what I would do without dr Smith.

I’ve been seeing Dr Smith for several years and he has met me at my needs and worked with me patiently until having several breakthroughs. He honestly cares and gives thought to whatever I’m going through. He explains things so I can understand and has benefited greatly from seeing him. Dr Smith has a great sense of humor that makes me feel comfortable and enjoy the laughs. He is spread thin but still gives the time needed. He has given me great articles to read and I feel we are in this together. The only problem I’ve ever had is getting a call back from the front office or getting them on the phone. I know they are extremely busy and are adding staff so this problem may resolve soon. I may start showing up at the office when I don’t get a call back. Front desk is usually very helpful just hard to get on the phone at the present time.

Dr. Smith has a wonderfully disarming personality, and takes plenty of time to assist his patients. On the flip side of that, you may get unlucky and spend ages in the lobby waiting for him to be caught up.

Top of the line..a surgeons surgeon..kind, timely and warm..I would only recommend him over any other surgeons
