Mahmood Ali's Online Review Report Card

He may know much from medical school with all his awards and such but he doesn't have much bed side manner or compassion. I was impressed by his Methodist bio about how much he cares and loves people but yeah no. He told us my dad wouldn't make it through the surgery which may be his professional opinion but wow! What a positive doctor huh. ? Wth! We have found a better doctor in the medical center, one of the best in Houston, let's hope he has a better bedside manner.

My husband went to this Dr. after a referral. He was not kind to my husband at all. His Staff are rude to. This guy is just get in and get out! !No Compassion. Is not thinking of each patient Individually. My husband felt very confused and knew this guy DOES NOT CARE... Very disappointing .

I interact with many doctors and their staffs and Dr. Mahmood's office is head and shoulders above any other colon and rectal practice in the Sugar Land area. The staff is friendly, smart, and efficient. Dr. Mahmood is not only very friendly and skillfull but also took care of me in a caring, efficient, and very competent manner. Simply put, everyone in Dr. Mahmood's office knows what they're doing, they take care of you, and still go about it in a very neighborly and respectful way.

I was completely unsatisfied with the service at this doctor's office. Initially Dr. Mahmood seem very caring and concern but as I continue to visit the office for my follow up appointments it quickly went downhill. The following is what I experienced:1. (Long wait time) I waited over an hour on two occasions; two follow up appointments. The staff should've called to inform me that the doctor was running behind but they failed to reach out to me. 2. (Lack of compassion) I voiced my concern of the wait time to Dr. Mahmood and he did not care and came across as very dry. There was no apology. 3. Several of my appointments were rescheduled. The staff would call and say, the doctor had emergency procedures, which made me feel as if I wasn't a priority. 4. My procedure was not successful. I asked the doctor if he had pictures of my before and after and of course he did not have anything to show me. I will not be returning. It felt as though, I was discriminated based on several things that I disclosed to the doctor.

Dr Ali Mahmood. recently performed a resection to prevent future and continuous infections in my colon. He was professional and took all the time I needed to understand the procedure and the need for me to have it. It was important to me to have a physician I could talk with easily and not be uncomfortable while discussing personal health issues. His willingness to show me the test results and images and explain in detail what those results meant was the point at which I felt I could make a difficult but somewhat sensible decision to go forward with the surgery. His manner and repore with his patients is comforting and he followed my progress through until he believed the time was safe to release me from his care. I would not hesitate to contact him if I need to and I would certainly recommend him to others. Dr. Mahmood's office staff is friendly and accommodating and the surgical nurses are especially caring.

I found Dr. Mahmood to be a caring and knowledgeable Doctor. I had him do the surgery and had a very good experience with him and his personnel. I trust him impeckably. He is truly concerned about his patients, and will follow them through the processes completely. I would rate him a 10 if it went that far. I did recommend him to 2 of my sisters and they too like him and trust him. Thank you for your patience and considerations to the three of us.

My Mom was taken to him for Ulceritive Colitis via ambulance. All he does is ask her few questions and thats it. She has severe bleeding thru her rectum consistently and is on a feeding tube STILL for 3 straight weeks. And still HE DOES NOTHING!!! Sends her back to the long term care facility and says to wait for another week. He Does not check anything. He does not look at anything. No Tests done. No Scans done. No NOTHING done. My mom has been losing weight, has been suffering consistent diarrehea and bleeding for 3 weeks straight, has inflamation in her rectum, has an ulcer in the small intestine, and THIS DOCTOR DOES NOTHING!!!
