Was seen the same day made appointment. Very professional staff and dr tabor is the best!

Dr. Tabor is a great doctor that has established himself and reputation as one of the Best of the Mid-South area. Post Surgery Remarks: After surgery and rehab I went back to Dr. Tabor after a full knee replacement where I had a lot of pain and swelling after surgery. Dr. Tabor kept telling me it was going to get better. The last visit was my last visit. He stated “ for me to wait until next year and I will see a difference from the year before. I will be able to look back and see that my pain gets better year after year”. That did not happen. He took X-rays which showed the implants were great! His hands on for evaluation was weak, barely moving my knee to see what was wrong. With barely little wiggling or motion evaluations, most know the routines, he found no problems. After several post op visits and the same answer(s) I had to find help and seek another opinion. I finally went to another surgeon for a second opinion. He took X-rays and did a great evaluation, and did more than a little “wiggling” of my leg. In a bout 15 minutes ( this doctor) after looking at X-rays and physically moving my knee evaluation, he actually told me what problems I had and what I would need to do to correct the previous surgery which pertains to the knee cap and tendons. This error or problem “will not” get better. So I have to do a reconstruction surgery under another doctor hands. I’m not sure why this happen if it was pride, the number of redos he is doing or I would just disappear. The person that I took advice from and recommendation from who had both knees replaced. That person had to have reconstruction surgery on both knees as well by this same surgeon. This person needed and had knee cap reconstruction as well. Im pretty sure Dr. Tabor has successfully had great results from others, but I felt this Post Surgery update was needed unfortunately. I haven’t had my reconstruction surgery yet because of COVID and another health issue that has priority at this time. I’m very disappointed what I found out with my knee knowing that Dr. Tabor could have taken a closer evaluation after several post op appointments I made. After researching another surgeon that is trusted and reading reviews people had made. I made my appointment and found out what was wrong. 7/2022

Never have to wait a long time doctor Tabor is very knowledgeable .I don't know what I'd do without him he's a great doctor. I always get results when I visit the office.

The surgery went perfect. My recovery has been so easy. As I had heard many times, I should have gotten my hip replaced a long time ago!

From the first the first visit with Dr.tabor, to surgery, to post surgery has been absolutely great. Dr.tabor, Dana,and staff help professional friendly and very helpful. Willing to explain the procedure and step to get back to normal life. Knee surgery is pretty tough to recover from but the staff at othrosouth has it alot easy, Thank you Dr.tabor, Dana and staff!!!!

Dr. tabor is the best! He treats me so kindly! I’m not just another patient! He takes his time and answers every question I may have.

I was very impressed with how nice the whole staff was and their punctuality. My appointment was at 1:50 and I was called back at 1:50. I was treated and out of there within an hour! Dr. Tabor couldn’t have been nicer and so professional as he explained everything to me fully.

I have been going to Dr. Tabor for several years. I trust him completely. I have known I needed a knee replacement for awhile. He has always listened to my complaints and told me what he could do and what my options were. I asked him to please help me get through my granddaughter’s wedding that was I. March and I would be ready. He did just that. I would rate him a 10 plus.I highly recommend him and have recommended him to many friends.

I went to Dr Tabor for a second opinion and ended up switching to him. He is a good doctor. He talks to you and explains things and seems to care about you.

Nice facility. Everyone has been very kind and easy to communicate with even when there have been times when there was a misunderstanding. Dr. Tabor is easy to talk to and makes sure that all your concerns and questions are addressed.
