List of William Bryan May's Reviews
Dr May was attending physician when I went to emergency room for high blood pressure on a Sunday morning! He was very helpful and thorough! He gave me advice on what to do plus a prescription for for my blood pressure to take until I could get in to see a doctor! I was very pleased with Dr. May!
I had surgery 11/23/20 at St. Francis hospital. Due to complications, I returned later that night by ambulance to the emergency room. I was left on a stretcher for hours with no care. Then put in a wheelchair and shoved into a room no bigger than a closet with other patients with wheelchairs touching at the height of CoVid. No social distancing. Scared, I pulled myself together & walked out of the emergency room hours later. I went home to bed & received a call that if I did not return, Dr. May would send the police to my home. I returned, a nurse came outside to the parking area, looked at me and I received a bill in the mail for $1400. Insurance refuses to pay because the billing code does not reflect the level of care received. It is now 8 months later & I need to have another surgery to correct the 1st surgery.
Dr. Bryan is just plain awesome!!! He gave me hope when others couldn't or wouldn't. I was in constant excruciating pain and could no longer walk even short distances. I was advised that nothing could be done besides Cortisone or GEL shots. At my age, that was a huge blow as I am a very active person. Dr. Bryan suggested that I DO get knee replacements. I will be forever grateful. This was the best experience with any doctor I have ever had. From my first visit, through pre-op, surgery itself, post-op-, and recovery, I have had nothing but the best care. Thank you, Dr. Bryan, Tyler, Ana, and the rest of your awesome staff as well as everyone at Methodist Hospital who took care of me.
I had knee surgery done by Dr. Bryan. He did great job. I was very disappointed that he never came to see me after surgery while in hospital even after repeated requests.
I have knee issue, Arthritis. So I found Dr William Bryan from some reviews on Orthophedic Specialist. The first time I saw Dr Bryan I was happy. Jeans his PA gave me knee injection after he saw the X-ray. I recomended him to my close friend with knee problems like mine. He didn't give my friend the injections and told her she needs an operation. My friend was so disappointed and unhappy with his attitude. I would not recommend Dr William Bryan to any of my friends and relatives. His bedside manner is not acceptable to any patients at all.
If you can put up with the medical center, no valet parking or full valet parking at the Out Patient Center, and the rude staff of Dr Bryan, you might be OK having surgery here. Patients who posted that his office clerk, Ana, is rude were being polite only calling her rude. You will encounter arrogance here and it is unprofessional.
I disagree with the rating that says Dr. Bryan is arrogant. He is not and he takes time with patients. His staff can be a bit cold, but he is a caring doctor and highly regarded by patients and doctors. I am happy to be his patient and trust him.
I felt very comfortable with the entire experience of bilateral knee replacements, I love Dr. Bryan and his staff I highly recommend him everyone I meet.
My husband had two knee replacements and had excellent results. I must say his scheduler Anna ??? was extremely rude to me both times.
The best, great personality, great with a needle. Friendly staff, appointments seen on time.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
