List of Bluff City Medical Center's Reviews
I love BCMC the drs, nurses and receptionist are wonderful. Puts their patients first. Always smiling and makes you feel welcome and cared for. .
This is the worst joke of a Doctor's office I have ever been to. I would not recommend that anyone that I loved or cared about go to this place. They don't care about the patients well being at all.
Great place
This place is terrible! I have been going here for over 5 years and, if I could, I would go somewhere else. Employees talk down to you and treat you like an inconvenience. No one seems to have even a remote knowledge of medical practice! They can't keep doctors there, so you are constantly seeing some one new. My mom's newest doctor (who implied she is actually going to be there a while) held my mom medically hostage!!! She would not refill my mom's prescriptions (THAT SHE NEEDS TO STAY ALIVE) unless she had blood work done that day!!! This place is just asking to be sued. DO NOT GO HERE!
Absolutely horrible doctor's office. First off, I completely understand this is structured for low income and those without insurance. I respect that and am fully onboard with that mission. My family went there because we live nearby. However, they are absolutely the worst medical office I have ever witnessed. The front desk has some of the worst customer care I've seen in any discipline. They are aggressive and don't seem to really care if they do their job correctly. From consistent mistakes on paperwork, to miscalculations on insurance, to plain old forgetting to schedule appointments they tick off every box. When you get blood work or any diagnostic work done here it is a miracle if you get the correct answer back. In one instance, one nurse told me to just take vitamins and when I called back to ask what type of vitamin they told me a whole slew of drugs they had called in for me because of my blood work. That is just one of five instances I know of that include faulty information and lack of consistent communication. The only redeeming factor of this establishment WAS the care of one of their medical practitioners. She has since moved on to better opportunities. We decided to continue with Bluff City after her departure and have found all other medical practitioners here are either amateur at best or plain do not care for the patient. Please, If you take your health seriously do not go here if you have the choice. If you are low income or no insurance, please consider Healing Hands or a health department.
I have been a patient for years, usually decentr care. This group of office people talk down to you and act like you are an inconvience to them. I have called for 3 days to talk to the nurse, was told they have 48 hours to call you back, I called in again on the 3 day and was told they called in a prescription to Walmart and that I should have called them instead. Bunch of lazy people that think their time is more than yours. Good thing I wasn't in serious trouble.
Efficient friendly staff. My Health care provider started working there
I have been here over an hour and no one has even come into my room
Great staff, always friendly and eager to assist.
Too much turnover in doctors & in nurse practitioners. They always forget to order meds & always say take her to the hospital. Can’t handle a minor ER like fluid retention.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
