Dr. King is amazing! She is genuine and down to earth - she talks to you like you're a person. I felt completely comfortable asking her questions. I have recommended her to others who need gynecological surgeries.

I saw Dr. King when she was a fellow with Dr. Camran Nezhat. She seemed amazing at first, would spend a lot of time talking to me and gave me her cell phone to contact her if needed after hours. She seemed amazing.But when I would contact her, she would discount my symptoms, tell me not to worry, or send me to the ER to be checked out. When I would arrive at the ER and describe what Dr. King had said, they said it didn't make sense. They also didn't understand why Dr. King hadn't contacted them directly with instructions. My pain wasn't controlled and I didn't respond well to the opiates she was prescribing, but she told me to keep taking them anyway. Only when I gave up on them did the side effects wear off and I was able to heal a bit.But when my pain never went away, Dr. King actually YELLED at me in the office accusing me of being at fault for my pain because I wasn't walking enough. It was all my fault she screamed. I calmly asked if that were the case that she refer me to physical therapy so that I could get help to walk without increasing my pain so much. She did give me a referral to pelvic floor physical therapy. Once I got there and then eventually through my GP to an regular physical therapist, it was discovered that I was causing great damage to my back/spine when walking including sciatica. I should have been in PT from the beginning.I spoke later with Dr. Nezhat about my experience with Dr. King, and he apologized and said she would no longer be working there. She was extremely unprofessional with me, and I would never return to her as a patient.
