Absolutely the best doctor of any kind anyone in my family sees. Able to not only test for vision in the medical/prescription sense but able to pinpoint more funtional needs. (Her vision wasn't severely bad, but fatigued quickily and she'd lose bioptic vision). Dr. Carothers eally kept my daughter focused and happy through such longer screening. Huge improvement with vision tasks following non-invasive treatment plan. And, "He makes the funny click sound."

I absolutely love him! He has delivered both of my boys. First one by emergency cesarean , and the second one Vbac. He is always smiling and makes you feel comfortable. Best OBGYN in my book!

With my oldest, I was told my blood pressure was fine at 160/100 (24 weeks in) as long as it came down after I ate. I transferred to another provider, placed on bedrest with weekly appointments, instructed to take my bp at home 4 times a day and keep a log. In the end I was induced early due to preeclampsia. Had I not changed doctors, I may not have my son today. Horrible bedside manner, any concern you have (even if you've already been diagnosed - flu, strep, etc) is because you're pregnant.

Dr. Carothers has been our 7 year old's opthamologist since she was 20 months of age. He has consistently been thorough, patient and respectful to both our daughter and us. He emphasizes education and options.

I'm a 32 year old guy who has been dealing with strabismus all my life. I finally decided to go ahead with my surgery with Dr. Carothers.I cannot be happier. Dr. Carothers is knowledgeable, professional, and the results are great. I'm so glad I decided to go forward with it - I can finally see in 3d for the first time in 25 years.I would totally recommend Dr. Carothers for anyone requiring Strabismus surgery.
