Nothing but a joke . They refuse to treat my mom let her run around the hospital while she had covid with no mask called me 6 times to come get her when we picked her up she still never had a mask on and they never would treat her they was to worry about getting her out the hospital then serving her even though she wasn't in her right mind to make her own decisions . That hospital needs to be shut down asap

I just figured out how this almost abandoned hospital, only surviving due to inmates is stealing from people

I called 1st to see how many people were there & explained my issue. Everyone was nice, helpful, & professional the entire visit that was less than an hour. Wonderful staff especially Dr Patel, very informative. Thanks & Blessing to Bolivar General Hospital staff!

Nurses were very helpful. Doctors on the other hand aren't helpful at all, are very impatient and also are very rude. I will never go back nor will I take my kids I would rather drive to Jackson.

Took to long and still couldn't find anything out

Ignores your HIPPA rights and leaves you worst off than you came in. Doctors don't care about you and the staff make up lies about you to get the cops to come raid your room.Seems like a great way to spend your last two weeks on Earth.

I have unfortunately been to this er several times as I have congestive heart failure and get pneumonia quite often. For the most part my experience has been good there is one nurse in the er that definitely does not need to be a nurse. She rolls her eyes back in her head and asks you did you get drunk last night like I love coming to the hospital it's crazy but other than that this place has saved my life on three occasions and if you get past the er and have to be admitted the nurses on the floor are great. They also have really good food for a hospital.

I normally dont have to rate like this until this incident on 5-17-19 they deserved this one star. First my two year old cousin had ear infection in both ears only sent home with a screaming baby and a rx what pharmacy open after 9. Ok my mom have back pain plus she is retaining fluid all this new doctor had to do was admit her to there or to Jackson read her previous chart history before entering. Omg nurses help them out bolivar hospital who want to drive to jackson you all we have and need get it together before they close you all doors. Then the front desk lady claim she didnt have any complaint forms madam yes you do but ok its still going to get done. You should have had a meeting with Doc while you were saving your forms. Dont save him help him by telling him where he went wrong.

Bolivar General Hospital is a decent hospital with decent doctor's for the most part. The nurses are awesome!! Most of the Doctor's are awesome too. They have always treated me with respect and dignity except for one doctor. On several occasions they have taken me they to get me stable enough just so I could make it to another hospital and if it wasn't for Bolivar General Hospital I just might not be here today. So, they have my respect. Thank you.

This isn't something I normally do but my experience this morning at this hospital was so bad I'm still trying to calm myself down. First of all. Humiliated is the main thing. I am not going to pay this bill because I had NOTHING doneI checked in at 636 am ten minutes waiting in the waiting room an emergency came through with about 30 family members. I understood and remained patient. About an hour an a half later a young nurse came and got me and took me to room #5. Ten min after that the X-ray Technician came in and took exrays ofy right ankle. I had an accident Wednesday evening and drove a drill bit into and around the ankle bone. Haven't been able to walk in sleep so I decided since Bolivar was close to my home I would go there. I just moved to the area and don't know my way around yet.Around 945 Dr. Patterson came in looked at my ankle didn't mention my x Ray's which had been done over an hour didn't say anything really except it needed to be dressed. I told him I couldn't walk on it and when asked I said I didn't need a tetnus shot because I had one in 2011. I was freezing cold. Didn't see anyone else for over an hour... My legs were turning purple it was so cold which was making my ankle hurt worse so I wrapped the sheet that was on the bed around me. The janitor even stopped and offered me a blanket at this time I was upset... I rang the nurses bell and had a very rude nurse come in I asked when Dr. Patterson would be coming yo see me and she in a very loud voice for everyone to hear said they had two emergencies which j was aware of and again remained patient and said he would get to me when he could. I was disgusted I told her I had been patient. I was cold and my foot was throbbing she said ugh hold on and I hear her telling the Dr I wanted to leave which I didn't even say that. She comes back with my prescription and a tetnus shot and I told her I had already told the Dr I didn't need one since mine was arioo active and said I'm free to leave. I said I cannot walk I told the Dr that and I said I need crutches. She grabs those and I leave. I had no discharge papers... I never got my ankle probably dressed.. I never knew the results of my x-rays. I was humiliated and embarrassed as I was leaving to the point I was in tears. I am not paying this bill because NOTHING WAS DONE. I cannot wait for the bill to come in and I cannot wait to talk to the person in charge of this terrible hospital .They should be ashamed...
