Came to Dr. Zhao because her practice came highly recommended and it was the best decision I have ever made. For background, I have suffered from debilitating period cramps for over 10 years. Every period I am struggling to stand, function, and eat. The pain is so severe I throw up and become dizzy. I’ve even been hospitalized due to the severity. I’ve seen multiple doctors and each told me I would either need to be on birth control or some form of narcotic for any kind of relief. Neither of these options were good enough for me so I decided to try acupuncture! The process starts by filling out a lengthy questionnaire where you can highlight any areas of opportunity. Dr Zhao then goes over your responses with you and provides great insight. Afterwards you start the cupping process, then the acupuncture, and finish off with a massage. This is the first time IN OVER 10 YEARS that my period did not borderline kill me. I am SO grateful to Dr Zhao and her team for giving me back my quality of life!!! I will regularly visit and make sure all things are in order to continue on this upward trend. PLEASEEEEE if you are considering coming to Dr Zhao just do it! I would recommend her and her practice to everyone! Thank you Dr Zhao!!!!

Dr Zhao and her staff are amazing. My husband has Meniers and she has worked wonders for him. I have rheumatoid arthritis and I am almost pain free. They are very courteous and very helpful❤️❤️

I had visited the acupuncture clinic in East Nashville twice, both times feeling quite anxious to leave. Their clinic is group style, so people sit in a large room in recliners and have needles placed in them while sitting in recliners. I went because I was suffering from terrible back pain, and had heard acupuncture could be a drug free alternative. Several years later, I researched acupuncturists due to a fertility journey. I found Dr. Zhao, visited her Brentwood clinic, and found a clean, friendly and medically knowledgeable environment that helped me feel so much better. I highly recommend Dr. Zhao and her team. She is a Chinese medical doctor, and very knowledgeable of the human body. Her team is awesome, Rose is wonderful at massage (you get one after every treatment). The rooms are private, comfortable and they play peaceful music as you rest. The needles don't hurt, and I often fall asleep (8 months pregnant now). I'm not typically an alternative medicine seeker, but this place is legitimate and worth visiting.

Truly an amazing doctor. I would not be pregnant today without her. After trying for over a year to get pregnant, saw her for two cycles and was pregnant. HIGHLY recommend. She is so knowledgeable.
