While I hate "the dentist", I absolutely love the folks at Brentwood Dental Excellence. I had a terrible experience as a teenager with a dentist who drilled into a tooth without sufficiently numbing the area. I wasn't a big fan of going to the dentist before that. After that experience, the thought of going to the dentist was about as appealing as drinking that stuff before a colonoscopy. I worried after my good friend retired from the practice, I would lose the only dentist I trusted. He assured me that Dr. Malik would take good care of me, and she has. I'm not an easy patient, but she has always done an incredible job of being sensitive to my anxiety and setting me at ease. Recently, I went in with a terrible toothache (about the only thing that will get me into the dentist chair is unbearable pain). Dr. Malik was unavailable, so I was introduced to Dr. Shapiro. While I didn't have the history with him as I did with Dr. Malik, he did a fantastic job of explaining things to me and helping me feel comfortable with my treatment plan. If you are looking for a group of people who are qualified and trained to provide good care, well you can find that almost anywhere; however, if you are looking for a practice where everyone-from the dentists and hygienists with decades of experience, to the administrative folks who keep the place running-to the in-house support doggy (yes-the dog may be my favorite in the whole place)all work together to help you get the smile you want to see when you look in the mirror, then look no further. I'm no picnic as a dental patient, but I know that these people really do care about me and they understand how stressful visiting "the dentist" can be. They have truly been a blessing to me and I cannot recommend this practice enough.

The office staff, assistants and Drs. Were very accommodating and worked with my schedule and fit me in as an emergency appointment. I am very thankful to them for making time for me and helping me when I was in severe pain. This office is the Best!

So happy I found this dentist! After significant research of dentists in the area, I decided to give this location a chance. My first visit was amazing! The office staff is so friendly, Dr. Asma is wonderful, and I have confidence in my future dental appointments. Check them out!
