List of Clifford Fulton Roberson's Reviews
Dr. Roberson discharged me after one missed appointment. His secretary, Lynn, did not call to remind me the day prior. Not only did they fail to do that, they failed to tell me why they discharged me and did not give me the discharge letter until a month later which I had to call for. Lynn, the secretary, was rude, discouraging, and untimely. I have been waiting a month to see when I could start my new meds and ECT with him, only to find out I no longer have a doctor. He certainly charged both of my good insurances at incredibly high rates. Basically, he seems to be after money, not caring about the true mental health of his patients.
Extremely helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. His staff is polite and friendly, and visits have always been productive.
Updated: I gave Dr. Roberson a five star review and unfortunately that review has to be retracted. After seeing him for about a year and finally getting the medicines right. I get a certified letter in the mail informing me that he no longer wants to see me. I never missed an appointment and always paid on time. Now I am back to finding another doctor. The most hurtful part is he never called my back after multiple attempts to reach him. This is unsafe and completely unacceptable. You know the truth. Good Luck Dr. Roberson is a great man. He is extremely attentive and asks the underlying questions to make sure to put you on the right treatment plan. Lynn is his receptionist and is very kind and willing to help facilitate appointments and payments. It is true he only takes cash and checks but that is too keep his cost low. Thank you for your work Dr. Roberson!
Dr. Roberson cares for my Mother who has Alzheimer’s Dementia. He is very knowledgeable clinically and a very kind and compassionate Dr. I also see a Psychiatrist for a Mood Disorder. My Dr. ( Psychiatrist) moved to California after seeing her for 5 years, so I had to find a Psychiatrist. I chose Dr. Roberson for my own Dr. after seeing the care and compassion he showed to my Mother. We have been seeing him for 1 1/2 years. As far as Lynn, his Secretary, she is very businesslike. Once you get to know her she’s very sweet. Elizabeth B. Retired RN, Emergency Medicine 8-6-20 Nashville, Tennessee
He discharged me after one forgotten appointment. I still do not have an explanation from him. His secretary, Lynn, did not send me the discharge letter, so I have been waiting for a month to hear back, only to hear my patience was in vain. I am now without a doctor, and will probably be without a doctor for another month because of the long waits into a psychiatrist’s office. Lynn was rude and unprofessional. He’s only after money, not the health of his patients.
Best care ever. Very effective in and out if hospital.
He drops patients for no reason---leaving patients without their meds and unable to get in to see new psychiatrists for 6 months. Do NOT recommend.
He is the most caring doctor I have ever been around. He takes care of my wife and does it well. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs help.
His secretary is horrendously unhelpful. Office hours are from 12-5, but no one is ever able to timely respond to any request. Messages are regularly reviewed 24 hours later.
An outstanding Pyschiatrist. As good as it gets. Well worth the drive to Brentwood.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
