I first saw Dr. Wallen during an ingrown toenail crisis a couple years back. She squeezed me in (hearing the pure pain in my voice I'm sure) and made quick work of the problem. Afterwards she mentioned that it was possible to get rid of the ingrown toenail problem permanently. I said thank you and left but it stayed in my mind. February 2021 I had my first toe procedure done. A month later I had the second one done. I'm not sure of the medical terms but essentially she cut down the sides of my big toes, removing the edges along with that ingrown portion that caused habitual pain. She numbed the toe before the procedure so I felt nothing except extreme cold and a pinch. I could walk/drive home after each procedure. Follow up care was pretty simple as well (wash, use cream, bandage, repeat). I saw her every week for a couple weeks so she could clean the wounds and make sure they were healing correctly. I just had my ten month follow up and both of my toes look and feel great! It's such an easy thing to just accept ingrown nail pain and ignore it. But not having to experience that pain continually has been life changing! It's a little thing that made a huge difference. Thank you to Dr. Wallen and Dolores!

I went to see Dr. Wallen in October for an old ankle sprain that didn't fully heal. She dorsiflexed my ankle to measure something, in a way that I don't naturally bend my ankle. That day, and the next day, I had pinching pain in the ankle. I kept tightening and loosening my shoe, not sure why I was feeling that sensation. Later that day, I felt intense pain in my ankle and leg, and two things shifting in my ankle. I was on crutches for two weeks and in a boot for another three weeks, and to date, I still can't walk normally and am going to PT sessions. The orthopedist shook his head when I showed him how Dr. Wallen dorsiflexed my ankle to measure it with a ruler, and the orthopedist was able to provide the measurement just by visually looking at my ankle. I will say, Dr. Wallen was nice, she did do a full evaluation for an hour, let me ask questions, and tried to be thorough. But I felt she was overly aggressive with my ankle (none of the subsequent orthopedists or physical therapists I've been to after forced my ankle in dorsiflexion in the same way). She wanted to get the most accurate reading for some calculation, but what good is it to me if I leave her office in pain?

Dr Wallen is a wonderful doctor. She is kind, caring, compassionate, professional and very knowledgeable. From the minute I arrived at her office I felt at ease. I was greeted by her very professional, personal assistant. And both consultations with Dr Wallen were pleasant and productive. I highly recommend Dr Eleanor Wallen!

Wonderful wonderful WONDERFUL doctor. Dr. Wallen is smart, sweet, caring and very funny. She's a pleasure to be around and clearly is at the top of her field and has an extremely broad range of knowledge. I found her on Yelp after getting a splinter under my toe nail. She came to the rescue and got it out and I healed with ease, no complications whatsoever. I absolutely loved her company and didn't want to leave! She's so pleasant and I would never think of going anywhere else. I can't recommend her enough. Thank you Dr. Wallen for your excellent care!!

"Heel pain is something you will just have deal with." Dr. Wallen FRUSTRATEDLY stated after we could not figure out what was the root cause of my Right heel pain. After several visits & no aggressive treatments/recommendations, I found another Podiatrist- Now I am heel pain free & happy.

BE WARNED... as you will be treated poorly when parking at this facility. The parking valet will harass you, physically stop you from entering the building, and also verbal abuse you for good measure. I arrived 15 minutes early, parked, and attempted to enter Dr. Eleanor Wallen office. Just as I was going to open the door to the building, the parking valet demanded to be paid as it was "valet parking". I informed him that he literally watched me park and did not say or do anything to stop that or direct me. He did not care and threatened to have my car towed if I did not 1) let him re-park my car, or 2) pay him for parking it myself and sitting on his bum. This makes no sense and should not be happening when all I wanted to do was get an insert made for a shoe.I called Dr. Wallen's office only to have the receptionist listen and then do nothing. I applaud Dr. Wallen on being so successful she does not need any new patients. So be warned, if you go to this doctor you WILL pay for valet parking whether your car was valet parked or not. And while I realize this is not the end of the world, I am tired of being taken advantage by the medical industry and that there are no consequences for treating patients/customers with such apathy.

Dr. Wallen is an excellent physician. Both she and Dolores were always professional, accommodating, and a pleasure to interact with. I cannot recommend the offices of Eleanor Wallen enough. They helped me after so many others could not.

I first saw Dr Eleanor Wallen 14 years ago after a local orthopedic surgeon said he couldn't help me for the intense foot pain I was having. She spent time listening, examining me and took Xrays. She then suggested we tape my feet to see if that support helped before the expense of custom made orthotics. I appreciated the approach and found it did help. So I've been wearing orthotics she designed for the past 14 years and happily have returned pain free to all activities including running and hiking.My son also saw her after an injury to his toe. Even took my daughter who was having knee pain and an over the counter orthotic helped to balance her stride and reduce the pain she was experiencing.Over all these years, Dr Wallen and Delores at the front desk have been highly professional. I highly recommend this office.

Dr. Wallen is an amazing doctor. Very caring and explains things in terms that are easy to understand.

First time ever going to a Podiatrist, did not know what to expect. I'm 36 years old, former athlete, avid runner who had been having intense foot pain for the last 4-6 months. However I was greatly disappointed to say the least in my experience. I was in and out in about 20 minutes, including x-rays not including the lobby wait. The front desk person was nice, but I wasn't able to see Dr Eleanor, who I signed up to see. I got her brother Mark. From the start his energy seemed off and had a condescending tone in his voice. Before taking my x-rays there was no conversation between us (not even a Hi), no introduction and before even looking at my x-rays, he had already prescribed me a foot insole from Amazon and wrote me a prescription for a pain reliever. I felt we didn't even discuss my problem in depth or have full discovery. It all felt so very rushed. And I mentioned that sentiment, to his response, "I've been doing this for over 30 years, it's a foot, it doesn't take that long." Yet I'm the one walking around with the current pain, not helpful at all. Overall, the service felt very inadequate. I did meet Dr. Eleanor at the end in passing and she seems like a very kind-hearted person, warm smile. However since all he did was offer Google recommendations for my foot problem, I decided to declined the follow up appointment and go somewhere else. (Not to mention I was being reached out to and informed he wanted to reschedule anyway.) Weird and strange experience, hopefully it will be different at the next office.
