I have been a patient of Dr. Scudders for nearly 15 years, she is great and takes all the time you need to discuss what's on your mind. Her nurses are friendly, very helpful and kind. I am grateful for such great medical care I receive.

These are not doctors that care for their patients, these are con artists who only want your money. They make it very difficult to pay your bills, a friend of mine was not notified of a co-pay for a monthly appointment and was sent to collections for $400....They did not send her a letter, call her, email her, text her, or mention it verbally at her monthly appointment. They sent her to collections and messed up her credit over a co-pay. Today I was attempting to pay a bill that I received in the mail for $150, I tried their first payment portal and it stated that I had a $0 balance. I went to the second option payment portal and it stated that I have a $175 balance with no details around the amount. I attempt to pay the $175 to just be done with these people, their portal did not work. So I called the billing department, I was informed that the additional $25 was a charge from 2019...I have a minimum of 2 appointments a year with this group of doctors, not once was it mentioned that I had an outstanding payment. I was finally able to pay my bill and be done with this situation.On top of this, for the past few years I have seen 4 different types of doctors with this group. All of them were dismissive and uninterested, they all just wanted to rush to their next appointment. When you needed to speak to a doctor for an urgent reason, you are told they can't speak with you for at least 3-6 weeks but you can talk to a nurse. If that is what you want from a doctor, you are in the right place. They prescribe medications at random and suggest unnecessary surgeries and don't check on you after those surgeries. I could continue but I have a life to go live.

Love having a wide range of doctors to visit all in one building. Also, Heritage has a great app to manage doc visits, prescriptions, messages to doc, etc for all of my family members

From the bottom of my heart, avoid this practice if you are in need of a septoplasty. I was scheduled for a septoplasty with Dr. Duncan this past February, but it was postponed due to a snow storm. Totally understandable--we can't control the weather! What wasn't understandable was why my surgery was pushed on to the back burner, especially when Dr. Duncan was aware of my tight timeline (I don't live in Tennessee and was moving out-of-country soon). I was told I'd have to wait until March because Dr. Duncan was on vacation, then was booked for a few weeks. Two or so weeks later, I was told another doctor could perform my surgery in an effort to push my new date forward, which I was grateful for. The issue was that I didn't meet this doctor until I was about to be put under. I didn't have a pre-op appointment with him, and am left wondering if that's why I am now 6 months post-op and still unable to breathe. Was the new doctor not briefed enough on my case? Or was it difficult to assess what needed to be fixed since he hadn't seen my nose in person until an hour before surgery? "Thankfully," the new doctor admitted his mistake about two weeks ago and said he "could've opened my nasal passages more" and to "try FloNase." To top it all off, I've been slammed by multiple bills from Heritage Medical after being told several times that my insurance covered everything. I didn't go through a surgery and pay out of my own pocket to continue using nasal sprays in an attempt to breathe. I now have to wait until I'm 1 year post-op to get a corrective surgery. Don't worry, I'm not making the same mistake. I'll be going to another doctor. One last thing. . the staff here are incredibly rude, with the exception of Amy in billing. Your receptionists are truly the worst.

I have never come across such an inept surgery. I am writing on behalf of somebody who had surgery, as well as from my own experience with the staff at this facility.To begin with, the surgery was completely botched. Poor communication, as well as a lack of genuine concern or commitment from the first doctor (Dr Duncan), meant that the procedure was passed onto another doctor. The subsequent doctor then failed in his septoplasty, proceeding to advise the use of Flonase. If they wanted to use Flonase, they would have gone to CVS, and not paid thousands for the wonderful experience of a botched surgery and rude receptionist.Whilst we're on the topic of rude receptionists and inept doctors, their billing department is nothing short of a joke. Consistently mis quoting fees for surgeries, and sending through bills that were previously advised as being covered by insurance months after the surgery.I BEG that you go anywhere but here... That is unless you enjoy rude receptionists, poor doctors, and a near enough scam of a billing department.
