Does not understand patient's critical condition, most of the new cases go to practitioner nurses and they know nothing. Wasted my time and my health degraded severally. Did not send right information to pharmacy which delayed my medicine Didnt do pre authorization for insurance on time and didn't do peer to peer and i end up paying lot of money to pharmacy. Never go to her

Dr Karlekar is an excellent Doctor that I have been seeing since 2008. I went to her for pain in my back. She did labs and a physical exam and told me she wanted me to have an MRI now. Within an hour of having the MRI completed she told me I needed to go to the hospital immediately as I had a mass on my spine. For the next two months she oversaw all of my hospital care and management and within six months I returned to work. This was the start of a 13 year relationship in which I have nothing but respect and admiration for this Doctor. She makes great use of her time by delegating return calls to her nurse who responds quickly to my needs. I have referred a number of my friends to Dr Karlekar and all have been as pleased with her care as I have been. I have now moved to another state but every six months I return to Nashville to see Dr Karlekar.

Just a fantastic provider. Really listens. Remembers me and interacts with me like a family member she is treating. I have never before felt so connected to my doctor. I feel totally comfortable with her and share openly without any embarrassment.

Deserves "zero" for EVERY category!Rude,condescending, abrupt,demeaning. Worse & more concerning is total lack of knowledge/ability to make an accurate diagnosis & provide appropriate treatment. Will not listen to you ,only "why are you here?,"then ignores you & orders arbitrary tests.If tests aren't VERY abnormal,"it's in your head" or she dismisses you to specialists.Refuses to look at med.history & symptoms WITH your test results to pursue a diagnosis-just wants you out of the exam room ASAP!

I think Dr. Karlekar is wonderful. I like how much time she spends with me, I never feel rushed. She answers all my questions, has good suggestions, and is very open minded with my use of holistic medicine. I feel at ease with her and trust her judgement. I'm very happy as a new patient. I also like the facility. I receive my blood work results very quickly. The staff is pleasant and helpful, and I never wait more than 15 mins for my appointments. Very pleased.

Dr. Karlekar is very friendly, focused and thorough. She is willing to do whatever it takes to find answers when trying to diagnose health concerns. I was very pleased with my visit and have invited other family members to use her as their primary care physician as well.
