Mark Andy Lee's Online Review Report Card

Horrible bedside manner with my 18 month old!! Did not take one second to say to him or get to know him the rushed through the exam with no warnings or explanations of what he was doing. My son cried like he never has before and my heart broke for him.. will not be taking him back to Dr. Lee again!

This review is specific to Dr. Andy Lee (all of the other staff we encountered this morning were fantastic). At the conclusion of our sick visit he pulled out a wad of stickers from his pocket and was shuffling through asking my son which kind he wanted. My 4 y/o son quickly chose Star Wars. Dr. Lee then snapped at him and said something like “stop touching them, those aren’t even the Star Wars ones, wait until I get to them - you said you wanted Star Wars right? Now here...which one do you want?” He then asked my 8 y/o daughter if she wanted one and of course she said no after how he had just spoken to her brother. I’ve never witnessed a pediatrician speak to a child that way. My son was pleasant and smiling the entire 5 minute visit. I should have spoke up right then, but was a little taken back and then of course he left the room seconds later. We will continue going to the clinic to see our children’s primary care provider, but would not recommend Dr. Andy Lee solely based on his bedside manner.

I've been a patient of Dr. Lee's for about 10 years at Brentwood Children's Clinic and am only leaving because I'm too old to be receiving primary care from a pediatrician! Dr. Lee's medical knowledge, ability to accurately diagnose conditions, and patient interaction skills are absolutely excellent. Dr. Lee's surrounding staff are fantastic as well. Aside from his superb medical ability, Dr. Lee also happens to be one of the nicest people I've ever met. I highly recommend going to Dr. Lee if you ever have pediatric needs!

This dr. is trying to drug my girlfriend with Klonopin for depression? Why is this doctor using sedatives to treat my girlfriend when she's just a little bummed out and wants to quit smoking? He didn't even recommend she stops smoking, and gave her no prescription to stop smoking.

Dr. Andy Lee is a wonderful doctor. I had kinda skipped from doctor to doctor, not very pleased with the ones I was seeing. I had just got home from California, and I had ear infections. I called the office to get in, and Dr. Lee was available to see me- I was desperate. Went in and saw him, and became his patient. Very friendly, on time, and very smart. If you need a good primary care doctor, I highly suggest Dr. Lee out of Smith Clinic!
